There's a unicorn in the zoo -- !

[ The feed takes in the blurred blur of grass and trees and everything else before Raven beams through the camera, chin buried in an extraordinarily fluffy scarf. She's sitting on a park bench, foot tapping happily as she talks looking more content than she has in weeks. ]

I would have totally started with that. Forget the curses and the monsters and the weird god people, nobody mentioned the unicorn and that's like - [ Free hand flailing, covered only in blue cut-off gloves. ] A bazillion times better. It's a unicorn.

[ Her eyes are kind of the earnest only excitable young people get - because it is a fairy tale creature and she grew up with a boy in a mansion, there's bound to be a level of ... fantasy about her thoughts. ]

Seriously? [ A beat, then another as Severide goes through 'is there seriously a unicorn out there?' and 'are you seriously that chipper about it' and 'what the fuck' and rince, repeat. ]

Zoo's open. [ A grin. ] And I'm acting as tour guide for anyone who hasn't found the unicorn yet.

Isn't the unicorn amazing? I was so excited when I saw it the first time. Did you see the griffin, too? Or the phoenix?

The zoo's pretty amazing. They have wolves, too.

They were sleeping when I saw them but they were still pretty neat.

[The Zoo is where Zelgadis does most of his training. It's spacious, and isolated enough that he's comfortable taking off his mask and hood. But still he's used to being more covered than not, so blue-grey skin of his face and hands are all that's showing -- for him, that's a lot. Between the light-catching pebbles that dot his stone skin and the metallic sheen of his light hair, not to mention the flourish of movement from his workout, it's not difficult for someone's attention to be caught.]

[If he were paying attention to anyone being present while he does a few simple exercises with his sword, he'd have thrown on his hood. Even the sensitive hearing of his long, pointed ears isn't much help, when the rustling sounds he hears are commonplace enough in this place where animals roam freely, so he's entirely oblivious to anyone who might be around until he happens to whirl around and spot a pretty blonde girl.]

[Immediately, he turns away and moves to cover his head with the hood of his long cloak.]

Oh hey, no.

[ Because he'd been fascinating to watch - Raven could have spent so long just attracted to the way he moved and the minute he turns away her stomach twists itself in a knot and she takes a step forward. ]
