[Action at the House // Open to Uhura]

[Many strange things have happened to Chekov during his time in the City. Waking up as a female, however, is a novelty, and he reacts by racing to Uhura's room (thank goodness for sleepwear with give). His female body is five-foot nothing and the shoulder-length curls are sticking up every which-way.]

Uhura? What do I do?

[Not the cleverest of questions, but he's surprised, his clothes are too tight in some places and too large in others, and it only makes sense to consult the closest woman.]

[Do you know this curly-haired girl, Lucy? Hint: she's usually your boyfriend. Chekov doesn't appear overly upset about this curse.]

Lucy, this is Pavel. I may need more advice regarding this curse than Uhura will be willing to provide.

[After acquiring appropriate attire and getting over the initial surprise of waking up with a... ah, different body, Chekov spends the weekend playing a game of let's-see-who-can-recognize-me with acquaintances (when he's not at work, of course, as a gender swap is no excuse to call in sick).

He might be seven inches shorter and curvier than normal, but that accent is all too easy to identify.]

[It's nice that her closet is being appreciated. She does love her clothes.]

Orange is awful. On me and everyone. It just shouldn't be worn. [Sorry, that's a football loyalty sort of thing as opposed to an actual fashion rule.]

Black is hard to wear unless you wear a lot of makeup to avoid looking pale.

Are there many more color rules?

[He's taking mental notes. Just in case.]

You wore black on New Years, didn't you? [He's examining the teal dresses. Are there rules about other traits that garments have that he should be aware of?] You looked beautiful in that. You look beautiful in every color.

No white after Labor Day, but that's sort of going by the wayside.

[He gets a big smile at that and she leans over to kiss his cheek again.] I was also wearing so much eyeliner that Adam Lambert was jealous. Thank you though.

I have never heard of Adam Lambert, but they have every reason to be jealous of you. [Lucy could have been wearing sweats and no makeup at all, though, and it wouldn't have mattered much.

He looks between a couple of dresses that look appealing.] What is the best to wear to get free drinks?

[Lucy giggles at that. She leans over and kisses Chekov's cheek again.] I'll have to show him to you.

She purses her lips a moment at his question and takes a few steps further down the row of clothes.]

With your boobs, something with lots of cleavage. [She finally pulls a dress out.] We'll have to give you lots of eyeliner and I know you said no heels but it's going to be a tiny heel. A kitten heel. You'll hardly even notice it's there.

[He sneaks in a kiss of his own before turning his attention back to the very important business at hand. That is a rather alarmingly low neckline, but Chekov trusts Lucy's judgment.]

I'm afraid you will need to show me how to apply eyeliner, and possibly catch me if I fall over in tiny heels.

I'll do your eyeliner for you and we'll have a walking in heels lesson before we hit the bar.

[She's just beaming at him. It's fun having a boyfriend that turns into a girl on occasion.]

Also, I changed my mind. We're stuffing you into one of my bras. You'll have amazing cleavage.

[She starts out of the closet with the dress and heels in hand.] How do you feel about thongs?

Thank you. I wouldn't trust myself with either makeup or heels.

[As long as Lucy is happy! He's not sure what to make of the comment about his cleavage, though, and has limited knowledge of thongs. Best to let Lucy take charge.]

I have no feelings about thongs.

[Excellent! She's prepared to take charge and make sure he has the full 'girl' experience.]

Okay, good. [She turns to a dresser, rummaging through it until she comes up with a matching thong and bra set.]

Put these on first and then maybe this. ["this" happens to be the silky robe she wore Valentines Day.] You can put the dress on once we've got your makeup and hair done.

[He looks at the undergarments skeptically, shrugs, and starts to pull off the clothes he's currently wearing.]

Are bras as difficult to put on as they are to remove?

Pretty much. [She says it with a sigh.] I'll show you how, but I'll also put it on you if you want.

[She furrows her brow considering him taking off his clothes.] How weird is it that like 85% of me kind of wants to have sex with you right now?

[candothat]

I would appreciate that, yes.

[He pauses thoughtfully.] I think it's weird that it is only 85%.

[mightbeconcussed]

[That makes Lucy giggle. She wraps one arm around Pavel's neck and pulls him into a kiss.]

Yes, but usually I stop at lesbian kisses.

[candothat]

[He returns the kiss with gusto, apparently unconcerned that he's only wearing boxers.]

Is this the same? I am still me.

[Who needs clothes?]

Which is why the 85%. Duh. [She tilts her head, contemplating the question and the idea.] Yes and no. I mean yes because it's still you and I like you. No, because it's different. You're softer today. And I have boobs pressed up against mine. Not entirely a bad thing. Just different.

[Well, if they ever want to get out of the apartment...]

Ah. [He looks down and, yes, there are more boobs there than usual.] Then I can accept eighty-five percent.

[That is becoming less and less likely...

She looks down when he does, laughter coming out in a snort before she leans in and kisses him again.] Your acceptance is very benevolent of you. Or something like that. In any case, I just happen to like your other body for the sex part of things better. I could, possibly, be swayed.

[Even after the kiss, he remains nose-to-nose with her.] It isn't in my best interest to sway you; you may decide that you prefer this body over the other.

[He won't say that he's not too sure how sex between two ladies works. He has ideas, mind, but that's all.]

Mmmm, I don't know. I do like this body, but you're lacking a certain part that I really like.

[Don't worry, Chekov. Lucy has no practical idea of how it would work either. She has ideas as well, but that's all.]

Yes, I'm sure that is the only thing you like.

[He's joking. And now he begins the arduous process of putting clothes on. The thong is self-explanatory, but the bra is a different beast altogether. He can't very well fasten it while it's on and he hasn't the faintest idea as to how to place the cups to maximize comfort and cleavage.]

How do you manage this every day?

[She giggles at that then shrugs.] There's your shoulders and your back and your stomach. [She sighs a bit.] Now it's only like 75%, but boy you is like 110% wanting to have sex.

[She comes to his rescue, manhandling the bra in place.]

Being a girl is hard. It's why I'm usually at least ten minutes late to everything.

I'll choose to take that as a compliment.

You should. [She loves that Chekov 'gets' her so very thoroughly. She takes Chekov's hand and leads him over to sit down in a chair in front of a vanity.]

Okay. Make up. You really don't even want to know how much junk I'm going to be putting on your face.

[He's grateful for the same thing. Lucy is one of very, very few people who doesn't find him odd or make him feel like he has to act like an adult all the time.]

I will try not to pay attention, but tell me--why is it necessary to apply so much? You're very beautiful.

[She shrugs a little, smiling at his compliment.] Thank you. [She presses her lips together, deciding that honesty is the best policy.] It makes me feel pretty.
