6th Opportunity: Video/Action

[Meyer's never seen anything like this before. He wasn't around the last time this happened, and the way the City seems suddenly much fuller than before is confusing him. Sure, he's gathered that this is an event of sorts, but it doesn't stop it from being strange. Or from him looking intently at peoples' faces as he passes, wondering if he'll see someone from home. He's speaking into the video as he does so.]

Is this normal? I gathered that it's happened before, but how often does it happen? Does anyone ever stay permanently, or do they all go home?

[He's headed down the street towards Lucky's, deciding that, even though the casino won't open for several more hours, he can always find something to clean or organize there.]

This is as good an opportunity as any to say that between 5 and 8 tonight, we'll be offering half price drinks down at Lucky's. Figured everyone could use it, what with the...

[He pauses, having just nearly run into someone on the street, then looks back into the camera, smiling.]

Well, there's an example. It's crowded around here today.

I've met some people who've said the legal drinking age where they come from is 21. That's ridiculous.

[It takes Charlie about ten minutes after arriving to see Meyer's post. And then he spend another fifteen finding where this 'Lucky's' is, because fucking hell Meyer he leaves you alone for five minutes and you turn into a fucking sap. Needless to say, by the time Meyer gets to the bar there is 6 feet of Italian gangster sprawled out at one of your tables, smoking a cigarette. You thought something as easy as locks could keep him out? You know him to well for that.]

[You're never getting free drinks now, Charlie, just for breaking into his business. As soon as he opens the door, he knows there's someone in there, and is about three seconds away from pulling out his gun when he sees Charlie sitting there. And proceeds to just stare at him.]

[At the casino Theo siddles up to Meyer holding a grey kitten in his hands and a chagrined expression on his face. Behind him is a red-haired man with a couple more kittens clinging to him in various places. The grey kitten is eating a poker chip.]

Um... I think I'm going to end up owing you a lot of money.

[This isn't a problem Meyer had thought he'd've had. Cheaters? Sure. Fights? Sure. Employees messing up? It was inevitable. Kittens eating the poker chips? Not so much.]

Where did that cat come from, and why is it eating that?

[The kitten has finished eating the poker chip and is now looking for something else to eat. Theo gives him a screw, which is happily nommed upon. Meyer can probably see the two sets of teeth the kitten has.]

I don't actually care where he's from, or what he is, but I don't want him eating my merchandise.

[Meyer is just a liiiiiittle grumpy about the whole thing, but he's trying not to be rude.]
