[So maybe you didn't notice this, characters, but at some point in the evening Charles vanished for a while to text Erik in quite a state. Thus toward the later part of the evening, he appears. A shark in a turtleneck, with the one beer he is willing to drink before absconding with his pet telepath.

Unsurprisingly he's sticking to wherever Charles is, and subtly watching his interaction with everyone.]
