[Someone woke up this morning with a particular set of memories restored and a new set after the events of yesterday morning.

Even as a member of the Virtues nir powers had never been that intent on healing and even though ne still can, to a degree, destruction is more common than not. There is usually no concern over the who or what--this time however...it doesn't matter that ne did not know yesterday who ne targeted, today ne does. Worse still the one who fell by nir hands.

And so it is a rather melancholy harlequin whose voice comes over the device sometime in the afternoon. ]

More toys they give their pets--distractions from the daily truth of life in a cage.

Let's think on it anyway...if you could have any power in the world, what would it be?

[He probably wouldn't have too hard a time getting it all things considered. If ne didn't take things into nir own hands before then. Maybe. It's still such an odd relationship after all.]

Ignoring the look and unasked question ne's sure is there and going to with distraction instead since Setsuna can't actually change the subject back himself.]

If only for the day, the little animals are rather cute.

[He's still not entirely distracted by that, but, indeed, he can't just ask again. He does give a brief smile and nod his head - they are cute, yeah - but then goes right back to staring at Hatter with bafflement.]

Interesting that they are friendly since the larger ones are very territorial.

[Wait. This is getting a little frustrating! Go back to that resolving thing! Here have Setsuna attempting a glare through the screen to indicate that.]

[Ne's been playing the fool since the Fall Setsuna--ne's good at it.]

It's doubtful they'll trample anyone if they stampede as well. Unless there are too many of them.

[A little too good. Setsuna finds himself rather aggravated by it. He never thought one-sided conversations where he couldn't speak would be this frustrating. But, well, now he knows.]

[He can talk at nem later all he wants--ne might listen, but he shouldn't hold his breath. For now however ne just smiles back at the device.]

[How about another glare? Yeah, as if that worked at all. Setsuna was still going to try.]

[He doesn't care. He's still trying, though losing steam for it, fast. He just can't keep with it, not when he's more confused than anything.]

You should go have fun with the baby hippos in case it's just a today special.

[Outside of fights, isn't he usually?]

[With a sigh, Setsuna waves good-bye, still looking a little putout. But, yeah, if he's honest, he wants to go play with the hippos the more Hatter talks about them.]
