[Someone woke up this morning with a particular set of memories restored and a new set after the events of yesterday morning.

Even as a member of the Virtues nir powers had never been that intent on healing and even though ne still can, to a degree, destruction is more common than not. There is usually no concern over the who or what--this time however...it doesn't matter that ne did not know yesterday who ne targeted, today ne does. Worse still the one who fell by nir hands.

And so it is a rather melancholy harlequin whose voice comes over the device sometime in the afternoon. ]

More toys they give their pets--distractions from the daily truth of life in a cage.

Let's think on it anyway...if you could have any power in the world, what would it be?

[Because even if he can't talk, he still wants to wave at Hatter. There are no hard feelings, see? Kira's alive, and that's the only part that matters. Well, Setsuna didn't intend for this to happen, but whatever. He can still...wave. Breathing isn't happening, though.]

[As for powers, whatever. He has plenty of those. But the cute little hippos running around? Yeah, he wants one.

[There may be none on his part, but that doesn't make it any easier. What if ne had succeeded with the intended target...

Still, it's nice to see Setsuna's as hopeless as always.]

The memories have returned as well.

[Then Setsuna would be after Hatter's blood right about now. And no amount of guilt or regret would save nir.]

[He nods to that, a little glad. No more incidents like the one that happened yesterday, then, good. He'd hate to go out for another twenty-four hours. That had been annoying enough.]

[ He’ll be tuning in with literally dozens of the little critters crawling all over him. Don’t ask how he managed but he’s somehow managed to tame them. So yeah. Feeding them and himself peanut butter with his fingers as he shrugs at the propped up device. Another accidental discovery. They don’t take fondly to smoke so the trademark cigarette is missing from the picture. ]

I dunno … I’m kinda content with my lot.

[He probably wouldn't have too hard a time getting it all things considered. If ne didn't take things into nir own hands before then. Maybe. It's still such an odd relationship after all.]

And this should be resolved soon enough.

Really? Not even a wish to return to your original state?

[Anything from their world is full of odd relationships.]

[Hatter gets a head-tilt and a look of confusion from Setsuna. Resolved? But it was already over, wasn't it?]

[The management wishes to note that Erik's PB would apparently like to have a tail. Because they look nice and he could hold a lemonade whilst on the computer. ~*THE MORE YOU KNOW*~]

There's no ability I'd take over the power I already possess. But you realize you might as well be asking 'who would you be if you were a different person,' don't you?

What happens when you return home once more?

[He's still not entirely distracted by that, but, indeed, he can't just ask again. He does give a brief smile and nod his head - they are cute, yeah - but then goes right back to staring at Hatter with bafflement.]

Not even to add to those you are capable of? Although, One does suppose you have a point. [Even if ne would just be a completely slutty version of Raphael...which isn't too far off the truth.]

There are no limitations to what I can do. [The marvelous thing about this is that it doesn't sound like a boast at all; it's more like someone else would declare that gravity exists.] I'm constricted only by my own understanding, and time and perseverance will take care of that.

Interesting that they are friendly since the larger ones are very territorial.

[There actually was a time when Magneto like, cured catatonia using the electromagnetic impulses in the brain, because this is Marvel and you couldn't make this stuff up if you wanted to. But never mind.]

It's doubtful they'll trample anyone if they stampede as well. Unless there are too many of them.
