video/action; pretend this was posted in the morning;
City, I just feel like I have to tell you this, or I'll burst. [Tohru gives the screen a loving, happy look, like she's completely besotted. She is.]
Some days, it's just too strong to hold back on. But I feel so fortunate to have such a cute baby sister. Jinora is sweet and intelligent, and the best. And Korra is such an amazing hus-wife. [She looks confused.] Husband.
Partner! [Yeah, she'll just go with that.] I couldn't have possibly asked for anyone better.
[Action;]
[Of course, her family has a meal already prepared for them, a wonderful breakfast spread - even Lin and Miles have been included on the menu, even though she's not sure if they'll join, or what they prefer.]
[And there's a lunch waiting for Korra with a heart drawn on it.]
Jinora, Korra! Are you guys ready for breakfast? I don't want it to get cold.

If I might ask... how long have you been married? [Not very long, surely, if she doesn't know what to call her spouse.]
But thank you! Korra makes me so happy!
[He pauses for a moment, then asks:] Forgive me, but I do not believe we've met before. I am Nobori. It is a pleasure to meet you, Madame...?
Hello, Mister Nobori. It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Tohru.
That is a Japanese name, isn't it?
[He bows in greeting, even though he's not facing anything more than a camera.] It is a pleasure to meet you, Madame Tohru.
Yes, it is. [She bows in return.] I come from there.
Might I ask where you come from?
[1/2; video-- she's so cute! ;3;]
よろしくお願いします。透様 ["It's a pleasure to meet you, Tohru-sama." Very formal, very polite. He switches back to English for the rest of the conversation:] I am grateful to have the good fortune of meeting another Japanese person here.
Ah, myself? I come from a place called the Isshu Region. Think New York, but with Japanese culture... and also, Pokemon.
[He reaches into his coat with his right hand at first, before deciding against it. Switching the cell phone to his right ( there are bandages visible around his right arm, mostly hidden by his somewhat tattered coat sleeve), he uses his uninjured arm to to draw a red-white ball and toss it.]
[2/2; video]
[The camera switches to a view of a flash of white energy, which subsides to reveal a strange, purple balloon-like creature with round, yellow eyes, a stitched mouth, and long, black arms like a chandelier's, bearing blue-purple flames.] Shanshan~
[It looks at the camera, before flying over it to join its human companion off-screen.]
1/3 [video] asdksajdskah Thank you!
This place is amazing, because I've met people from so many places! I've never been to New York, but that sounds fascinating! I'd love to see a place like that. A big city, with our culture. It would be lovely. [She's convinced of this, at least.]
Pokemon? What are - [she stops mid-sentence.]
2/3 [video]
Ah, are you all right? [Then she's completely distracted.]
3/3 [video]
Is it a he, or a she? I've never seen anything like that before.
Chandela has a high, feminine voice, but that's about all it has in terms of ways to tell its sex.
The "cute" response reignites its interest in the one on-screen, as it floats back into view, beside its trainer, smiling more brightly, flames flickering in its excitement.] Shandela-shan~! [It's voiced like a cheerful "thank you."]
Chandela have no gender differences, so it's hard even for me to tell, but... there was a curse not too long ago that gave Chandela human form. She appeared as a woman then, so perhaps Chandela is female. [Nobori looks thoughtful as he answers, before smiling. He couldn't help a bit of showmanship, with how interested Tohru is.]
Chandela is very strong and well-suited for battle. It is capable of a variety of techniques! [To illustrate, Chandela's eyes glow with a strange blue light that seems to form around something just out-of-view— oh, look, a few books are flying into the air, spinning in a circle with their pages turning, before settling down again, the glow dying down from both Pokemon and books.]
[She watches in awe, then claps a little when Chandela is done.]
That was very impressive! Battle...she fights for fun? I've always wanted to see something like that. Like a martial arts battle, but with monsters!
Shaaan~
Yes, we battle for sport in my world! [He's very happy that she gets it! Others he's met here tend to assume Pokemon battles are more like cockfights...] There are Contests focusing on the beauty and elegance of the techniques displayed and regional tournaments for strong trainers to compete in battles against one another... it is all very exciting!
As my brother and I are very busy running the Subway, trainers come to challenge us there.
[While he speaks, Chandela decides to show off a bit more, spinning and weaving its flickering flames together to form a ball of fire in front of it, which it launches into the air above it before taking back in.]
Re: [video]
[She watches Chandela's moves in awe.]
You are so amazing! You both are.
You trained her to do all of that, Mister Nobori?
[video; Tohru's cuteness is too much! ;3;]
A trainer simply aids his or her Pokemon in obtaining, utilizing, and mastering the skills they are inclined to learn. At heart, it is all a matter of teamwork.
[video; It's supposed to be! So I'm relieved to know I'm doing it right XD Thank you]
Then you guys make a wonderful team! Are there are other pokemon for her to battle here? [She imagines them like friendly skirmishes.]

She does find this City quite interesting and I think I shall allow her to wander more; perhaps, she will find a good diversion on her own. In the meantime, I will have to make an effort to keep myself out of trouble.
But, uh, be very careful in the Underground, if you go. The monsters there are very big and scary. I wouldn't want anything to happen to you two.
Thank you for the warning, Tohru-sama. [He already knew about the monsters, but he appreciates the warning as a display of concern.] I will do my best to stay safe, as will my partner, and I hope that you will too.
I have heard of there being a subway here as well, but using it alledgedly causes bouts of hallucinations. I have never stopped at that terminal, but the sound of those warning bells was more than enough reason for me to ensure that the route I take never intersect with it. [Don't use a train metaphor while talking about something that actually involves trains! It makes things convoluted.]
The subway sounds a little frightening. I hope I don't have to use it. I might miss my stop. Have you been there already? [It sounds like he has. But he's only heard of it. Wait. Did she get it confused?]
I have not, Tohru-sama. I did run a different subway alongside my brother in my home region, however.
And, uh, Mister Nobori, you really don't have to call me that. Maybe Tohru-san?

[Video; sorry for the delay! College. ^o^;]
[Video; Never fear! I backtag. And look how long I was, anyway.]
[Video; It is a most wonderful thing!]
