21st Spell ~ [Voice]
Good morning, City. Looks like we're a bit snowed in.
[ Merlin's voice starts out completely cheerful and, hey, he's not used to this much snow, might be a part of it. Or just because. But as he continues, after a pause, it goes a little more somber. ]
I feel like this is something that's been asked before, but...
If you got to choose whether to stay in the City or go home, which would you pick?
[ Because he... honestly has no clue. Whatsoever. ]
[ Private to Arthur ]
Are you stuck over there? You didn't come home last night.
[ Now, he sounds incredibly knowing. But that's mostly teasing. ]

Anyway, whatever. She's texting him from there and probably had a very hard time sleeping, anyway, and probably thinks she just looks like Hell. Hence the texting.]
What if I said I am home?

Undoubtedly, I would choose to return to my home station!
I have much to return to.
[Voice]
But I understand. When I first got here, I would have said the same.

The other question is do you see the City as home?
voice;
[ That is a difficult question, Ginny. Not very nice of you. ]
Sort of. It's complicated.

why this?
this was not what he wanted to hear first thing in the morning because he was already feeling self conscious enough as it was. But, he could hardly let himself get caught out by his servant of all people. So, he mans up. ]
Unfortunately, yes. The snow drifted right up to the front door.
[ and now he was going to have to crawl out the window to see just how much damage was done. ]

How unfortunate.
But it wasn't too bad, right?
