[If you're wandering around in the snow today, you're not alone. In fact, you might notice you're not alone just as a snowball whizzes by your head and hits the closest thing to you.

Why, yes, Meyer's gone for a walk in the snow, and he's decided to let his playful side -- which is usually completely stifled -- out. With a snowball fight. That you probably didn't ask for.]

Heads up!

[And he flings another snowball in the general direction of whoever he thinks he can hit. His aim is remarkably good, but he has a disadvantage: he's not wearing gloves, and his hands are slowly getting numb. Think you can take him on?]

[Don't mind Meyer, he's just ducking behind the nearest possible tree, although it doesn't make for a very good hiding place, not even for him. And readying another snowball.]

[Just ignore the fact that whoever's hiding behind the tree is totally visible. And is totally flinging a snowball at you, Axl.]

[He ducks and nails Meyer right in the middle of his back.]

[Oh, it is so on. Meyer scoops up a way too big handful of snow, flinging it in Axl's direction, probably hitting him somewhere on the legs because that snow was heavy and that guy is awfully tall.]

[Well, Meyer, you very nearly hit the solemn-faced conductor— and squarely nailed his ghostly companion in the face.

He whips around, looking shocked.]

Are we under attack?!

[The purple balloon-chandelier hybrid withers, floating from side-to-side, letting out a miserable "shaaaaan" before settling on the ground, purple-blue flames flickering all around it. Clearly, not injured, merely over-dramatic, which calms down its human companion.]

He dodges the next one.

Well, why ever not? Well, there are many reasons, namely that Nobori isn't a playful person under normal circumstances; actually, he probably would have sooner gone off on a rant about safety regulations and the seriousness of their present situation or some such, but right now, this looks like a good, somewhat familiar diversion.

He smirks and begins to scoop out a clump of snow to roll.

(Guess who has the advantage of gloves? His uniform is flashy, but also practical!)]

I will finish this quickly!

[Meyer laughs at the man's reaction, although he's a little confused by the strange chandelier-like thing that seems to be floating by the man's side. Then again, he's seen strange things in the City, and he knows better than to question it. Besides, there's a snowball fight to be had, and he's aware that the other man is scooping up his own snow very quickly. And with gloves.

Time to double down on his own effort. He ducks behind a tree, rolling up snow into a ball as fast as he can, hoping to beat Nobori to the punch.]

[Ah! And he's without a trench to hide in— clever move! This should make up for the glovelessness.

Chandela shakes off the last of the snow and floats around her trainer, watching the proceedings with interest. What a strange battle.

He's going to have to run past that tree and fling the snowball mid-run and hope it hits before Meyer's does! This one's clearly to Meyer's advantage, however.]

[Neither of their snowballs hit, as luck would have it. Meyer's throw was good, but his hands are too cold to aim as accurately as he should be. His only advantage is the tree, and he's using it as best he can.

At least he wasn't hit by the other man's snowball. He frantically begins scooping another snowball into his cold hands.]

[He bends down to try and roll more than one, while Meyer's hiding behind his tree. He's hoping to finish quickly!]

You know, Sir— it is best to cover your hands if you're going to handle snow... you might get frostbite, in this weather! [If this is a battle, is this a display of overconfidence? Chandela's still not quite getting this snowball fight thing.]
