[ The less of a fight you give, the angrier Loki becomes--and his hold on it is so tenuous right now, as frayed a state as he's in. ]

No. [he says calmly, maybe even like a big brother should.] When I threw Asgard asunder for my own pride, he cast me out, throwing me to Earth. For you, he reached out and called for his son.

[Even though his words hurt, Thor isn't about to let his brother hurt himself more.]

Come, I will take you to one that will see that your injuries are tended to.

He called for a criminal and a murderer, the shame of his house: not a son. [ It's the closest he can come to the truth--to admitting he isn't Odinson at all.

He flings another burst of power at Thor, powerful enough to throw him a distance. ]
