Of course, he won't seem any different to anyone. Unless you can smell the wolf on him because this Stiles? Best beta this side of Beacon Hills and if you have anything to say about that he'll fight you on it. So he doesn't quite have his memories of this place - follows his nose more often than not because he can smell paths he's walked before.

He's exploring. He won't be here tomorrow. (He trusts Derek, and Derek says so.) He might as well figure this place out from scratch first. ]

( ooc: Stiles has been hit with a road not taken this weekend - which means he was the one Peter bit in episode one, not Scott, and is therefore part of Derek's pack and a little bit different to the City Stiles. [When Stiles comes near the Garage, following an old scent, he may see a pair of brown eyes watching him from a nearby bench. She came out for a morning walk before Doctor Chase woke up, all bundled up in a dress and scarf and hat, her hair up in ribbons.

She smells like a human.

And maybe there's a slightly acrid scent of something else beneath it, something yet unhatched]

[ Small children are his weakness. Why else would he have latched on to Scott so quickly. But he notices the scent, doesn't wrinkle his nose. ]

[Her eyes are a little wide]

[ He tries to look as unthreatening as possible. ] How about you?

[She makes her way towards him, step by step. All her clothes look expensive, they smell new.]

[ Maybe she's Lydia's lovechild. ]

That's a nice name. Where are you from? [ Crouching. Because it's nice to get on the kids level. ]

[She looks at him, at his hair, at his clothes]

That's Africa, right?

[ Nodding. ] Yep, I am.

[She keeps looking at him]

[ Grinning slightly. ] I'm new here.

There are a lot of cars in there.

[She points back to the garage]

[One path he's walked leads to the hospital, and clinic is in session.]

[ He gets it, he does. Human him is probably here a lot. Hyperactivity. Getting in the way of danger. He doesn't like how hospitals smell though, so he's breathing shallowly as he explores. ]

[Chase steps out of the clinic with a list of symptoms to tack to the door. He notices Stiles on the way, pausing to frown and check his watch.]

Are we booked in today?

[ Watching him with a slightly different curiosity than normal Stiles. The other one just wants to explore everything, this Stiles has learnt to be cautious. But still, there's a level of confusion in his voice, like he's momentarily forgotten he ever even has problems. ]

Are we?

[That's the thing about people stopping by a free clinic. Odd behaviour is fairly common when someone's gearing up to talk about that rash their girlfriend noticed, or the fact it stings when they pee. Not that Chase doesn't notice, he just doesn't take it as an immediate sign.]

You weren't in my charts. [He turns, and leans back against the door.] But I can make some time, if you need it.

[ Pausing. ]

Because of my ... [ Fuck, what if human Stiles is sick and Derek hasn't told him. He doesn't really want to kill himself by missing an appointment but one check up and Chase will know he's not exactly ... himself. ]

Illness. Which I must have.

[Yes, and the acting weird right now won't be a clue at all.

Because you don't usually show up here for the pleasure of my company. Is something wrong?

Nope.

Just ... exploring. [ He's trying to figure out in what realm of possibility would he be here for. Obviously he's still on adderall, he could smell it in his room -- but there's also a sense of familiarity about the place. ]
