[The sound of the fountain could be heard, and the sound of a man coughing out water as he tried to talk. His voice sounds strained and short of breath.]

Boss? [A wet cough] This isn’t exactly what I expected. Can anyone... read me? [No names or call outs, just in case this was... something else. Better safe then sorry.]

[A slopping sound, as if he just hit ground and leaned back on something, could be heard over a wet cough. The tone of his voice however was dry:] This isn't the carrier. This better not be the afterlife.

Mmmm yes. [Oh he might not fully be here now, as he's talking, smiling a bloody smile no one can see, and trying not to chatter.] I got to meet Captain America. Ever... heard of him?

You'd have liked him. Everyone likes him. Brave, strong, friendly, kind. Smart man. [he shuddered a moment and in his head just smirked, because this can't have been as cold as the ocean was to Cap. Clearly he shouldn't complain. Body, stop it.] A real hero.

I like heroes. There aren't enough of them where I'm from. Just jerks and rude adults with too much time on their hands.

[Another pause.] I have an ability. I can start fires with a thought.

[She leaves in a couple days, so him knowing is irrelevant. So she thinks at the moment.]
