[The feed shows two small boys - around eight years old - running amok in one of the workshops at City Solutions. However, these aren't your normal children; the havoc they're causing is rather more scientific than what an average Earth boy might be able to do.

Koschei is tinkering with something that looks rather robotic when he glances up at Theta.]

Have you got your bit working yet, Theta? It's hard to do things properly with these primitive tools.

No, but Rose mentioned him earlier. [Wrinkling his nose a little.] That's not a proper name.

Not really, but if it's what he wants to be called, then who are we to question that?

If he's a Time Lord, then it's not his real name. [Only exiles have names like that, as far as he knows, but he's not going to mention it to Pepper-Bruce.]

I'm Koschei, and he's Theta Sigma. Why're you named after a spice?

Are those your real names or special Time Lord names?

I'm called Pepper because of my-- well, normally I have a lot of freckles, and red hair. Today I look a little different because I'm stuck in my friend's body.

Those are just the names we go by. We aren't supposed to tell people our real names.

[Koschei gives Pepper a skeptical look.] How do you get stuck in someone else's body?

Just like Pepper isn't my real name. But my real name isn't a secret, it's just Virginia.

I don't know, it's just something the City does now and then, trades bodies around. I'm in the body of my friend Bruce, Bruce is in the body of our friend Tony, and Tony is in my body. It's all very confusing.

But if your real name isn't a secret, then why don't you use it?

That's weird. How can a city do anything like that?

Because I like Pepper better.

It's not really the City itself, but the people in charge of the City, I think. They call themselves deities, and they like to curse us every few days.

Oh, okay. [He still thinks it's weird, but humans as a species are weird.]

Deities aren't real, they're just in stories. Like witches and curses and magic. People just talk about things like that when they can't understand how things really work.

Well, I may not understand how it works, but I know I'm in my friend's body and probably will be until Monday.

Must be some sort of technology. I don't understand why they would only do it for a couple of days, though.

Probably just to prove that they can.

So you're a girl, right? Virginia is a girl's name? [Theta knows more about Earth things than he does, but he's pretty sure it is.]

Yes it is, and yes I am. Usually.

That's okay. Some people change genders when they regenerate.

Is that when a time lord changes his face? I met two different men who both said they were the Doctor.

[Solemn nod] Whenever something happens that might kill you, you regenerate instead. Every cell in your body changes. But you only have twelve regenerations. That's why most people just sit around on Gallifrey and don't do anything exciting ever.

Theta's better at excitement than I am. But even he wouldn't do anything really dangerous.

You see, that "probably" is why you need adult supervision.

It's been ages since Theta blew anything up.
