[The feed shows two small boys - around eight years old - running amok in one of the workshops at City Solutions. However, these aren't your normal children; the havoc they're causing is rather more scientific than what an average Earth boy might be able to do.

Koschei is tinkering with something that looks rather robotic when he glances up at Theta.]

Have you got your bit working yet, Theta? It's hard to do things properly with these primitive tools.

[Yes, someone was just as much of a snob in his younger years as he is several centuries later. At least he's not evil, though?]

[ He's wearing too big goggles on his face, a smudge of something like soot over his cheek. Dummy's clicking at him curiously, and Theta grins at him. ]

Koschei, come and look at this.

[worstretconever]

[Koschei puts down what he's working on to run over to Theta and Dummy. He stares up at it with wide eyes.] What's it for, though?

[timelordy]

[ Dummy pulls at Theta's shirt. ]

I think it's just meant to be friendly. [ Twisting to laugh at him even with the robot pulling him. ] A friendly robot.

[ He wants one. ]

It's just an arm, though. Wouldn't it be more fun if it had two arms? And legs? And maybe a few other appendages?

[And a laser.]

[timelordy]

No lasers.

[ Prying himself from Dummy's grip. ] But lets see what we can find around here.

[worstretconever]

But lasers are fun. [He pats Dummy's arm, then scampers off in the direction of a cabinet that looks like it might hold some parts.]

All these parts are so much bigger than the ones back home, Theta. Do you think they don't know how to make them any smaller?

[timelordy]

[ Picking up a wrench and hooking it into his belt. ] Maybe smaller things are just too complicated for them.

We could make some smaller parts for them.

[missrosetyler]

You might want to try and be careful with that.

[worstretconever]

[Koschei frowns a little.] But they always say in class that we can't give other civilisations technology they haven't developed on their own yet, that it might change the course of history. You know the rules of non-interference.

[worstretconever]

[Koschei just shrugs.] We do this sort of thing all the time back home.

[...it doesn't always work out there, either, but he's not going to mention that.]

[timelordy]

[ But he wants to play with the humans. ]

Can we still make a robot? Or is that against the rules too? [ C'mon Koschei, live a little. ]

[timelordy]

The robots are friendly!

[missrosetyler]

Yeah but this is the City. Sometimes things don't work like they do back home.

Are you gonna fix that robotic thing or upgrade it?

[worstretconever]

[He grins again.] We could probably make a robot. Just as long as we take it with us when we leave. [Look, Theta, you know how he is about breaking rules.]

[missrosetyler]

Still you should be careful. They might try and bite you later.

[worstretconever]

[Nope. Totally unconcerned by the prospect of things not working.]

We're building a new robot! I don't know what sort of robot it is yet, though.

[missrosetyler]

Interesting. What about making it a service sort of robot? It can bring you tea and scones.

I think we're going to make another friendly robot, like the one over there. [He points the camera at Dummy, a large robot arm, for a moment.] Theta won't let me put any lasers in it, though.

[ Picking up things as he wanders around. ]
