[Korra and Naga are sitting in the backyard of their apartment building. Korra looks unusually thoughtful.

She's trying to figure out what to do with the five pink sheep that are currently grazing around her. Naga lets out a warning growl as one of the sheep tries to eat her ear. Fortunately, Korra has already told the polar bear dog quite firmly that the sheep are not food.

But seriously. What was Tyr thinking, leaving his entire farm to her? Does Korra look like a farm girl?

A tall, greasy man storms her way. Oh shit, it's the landlord! Korra jumps up and smiles awkwardly.]

Hey there, Mr….Landlord….person…

All right, that's it! I've had enough of you! Letting you keep the beast around was one thing.

[Korra had flinched as he immediately started yelling, but she straights indignantly at this insult to her friend.] Hey, Naga is not --

[He's not listening.]

Being almost a MONTH late with the rent was another thing. And now SHEEP? In MY YARD?

[There's loud meowing from Korra's apartment. Both Korra and the landlord turn to find all nine of Tyr's cats piled in the window, looking as adorable as they possibly can.

Her landlord is not impressed.]

AND NINE CATS?!?! THIS HAS GONE TOO FAR!

[ action ]

The Avatar is a busy bunny! If you're out and about today, you might run into her at any of the following locations:

1) ARGUMENT WITH LANDLORD -- you can overhear, observe, or even join in!

2) THE UNDERGROUND -- At Chekov's suggestion, Korra is going job hunting in the Underground, including at...

[This is why you're the best, Jinora. Korra bites her lip to hide a smile as the landlord turns and actually looks abashed at the sight of the little girl.

Thrown off his game, he shouts something about 48 hours and storms off. Korra grins and gives Jinora a thumbs up.]

[Once the man leaves, Jinora does a little victory spin and returns the thumbs up. Not all of the cats appreciate this.]

[Korra pats Naga's nose and heads back into the apartment. Once inside --]

You were great! Though I'm not sure Tenzin would approve...

[She still looks very pleased with herself.]

I didn't do anything wrong. He was yelling at you... Dad's the only one who's allowed to do that.

[Korra snorts]

Don't tell him that.

[Not that he's here to tell... She shakes off the thought.]

Guess I can't put it off anymore.

[She wishes she could tell him, then he'd be here and teaching Korra how to airbend. Jinora's never going to be able to teach her anything.]

Put what off?

[deep sigh]

I need to get a job.

Why?

[She hasn't needed a job before. Isn't everything free here? What?]

I need money to pay for things. Like rent. And food.

You didn't need a job before.

Yeah, but then I turned 18. [Still not sure when.] Once you turn 18, you have to take care of yourself.

Oh. [It only takes a moment of thinking before--] Can I help? I could get a job.

No. [Korra pulls Jinora into a hug.] You don't have to do that. I can handle it. [With Tohru's help, but that doesn't occur to Korra at the moment. She's still used to handling everything on her own.]

You just focus on training me in airbending.

[Jinora hugs her back, worried.] I'm not doing a good job.

You're doing a great job. You've just got a crummy student.

You're the Avatar. [It doesn't matter if Amon took her bending away; Jinora knows that they'll be able to get it back.] You'll learn it, you just need to be patient.

[Everybody but Korra believes that.]

Yeah. Patient.

And I'll be patient, too.

[She's going to out-adult you, Korra.]
