I'm not entirely sure where to look for a job, so if this isn't the right way, let me know. I will look through the shops tomorrow, but I thought I might try this way first.

I really would like a job! I was used to having one back home. Cleaning and cooking are the skills I'm good at. Back home I was working with a cleaning crew, so I have experience, too! If anyone knows of anyone hiring for such a job, or anything similar, please let me know.

Even if it's really different, though, I'll still try it!

[Speaking of cleaning, Tohru's been looking for cleaning supplies and trying her best to clean around the place she shares with Jinora and Korra, without being intrusive. Maybe she should've asked to do this, first? Also, is that lunch she's prepared out on the table? Yes, yes it is.]

Then I will always be on my best behavior just in case! [It's almost fascinating - mysterious owners she might never meet.]

She begins preparations - washing food and putting the cutting board out, then gives Liam a nod.]

Oh, please do! I should have done that myself.

[ he has a tendency to subsist off of sandwiches. Small and very easy to carry. ]

Then, please, make some, Mist-, ah, I mean, Liam.

[She stays carefully out of his way, chopping things up, preparing the broth. A big kitchen is convenient for getting many things going at once. She even brought a bowl and spoon with her for the end portion, and puts those on the counter while everything is being taken care of.]

[Once completed, she sets the bowl out for him.] Do let it cool, as it's still fresh from the stove.

[ he had watched her, cataloging her movements, judging her efficiency as she prepped her food and made allowances for the unfamiliarity of the kitchen. She had certainly not wasted her time. ]

It smells delicious. [ and it did, steam rising from the bowl as he settled himself down next to it, grasping at a spoon. He takes her warning to heart however, and blew gently before he took a taste of the broth. ]

[She had tried her best. And then she waited, hands clasped together, anxiety growing. She had taste-tested while making it, of course, ladling some into a small cup every so often to make sure the taste was as she desired. But the question remained - would Liam like it?]

[ oh, well... It was perhaps a little spicier then he preferred, but -- ] It is very well made. [ even Liam can tell the flavor blends well and considering the nature of his employers, it may well far better suit their tastes rather then his.

But he takes another sample, this time focusing on not the broth, but it's contents. Noodles placed inside a soup; what an interesting concept. ]

[She wants to ask if it will get her the job, but holds herself back.] Thank you.

[She bites her bottom lip, thinking of everything she could have done better to improve it, all of the little things she might try next time. It's nerve-wrecking, just waiting, but she doesn't want to pester him and ruin the experience.]
