[video // action]
[This post opens to a view of the lake at twilight--on the lake, rather. The video is unsteady; look away if you're the sort of person who is prone to seasickness. Lakesickness. Whatever the network device is balanced on appears to be moving at a good clip.
Oh, wait. The view changes and--yep, that's a giant wooden swan head. Citizens, there is a motorized swan boatdoing warp eight going faster than wooden swan boats are probably supposed to go.]
This is the best curse since everything turned to food!
[Not surprisingly, perhaps, that voice belongs to Chekov. Should anyone else be enjoying a nice swan boat ride on the lake... well, be careful. This particular swan's steering system might not be working at optimum levels.]

You okay, Chekov?

[If flailing just enough to stay afloat is okay, yes. On second thought, Chekov thinks that he ought to admit that swimming is not one of his talents.]
Ah--can you swim well, Korra?
action;
Looks like you could use some practice.
action;
I could, or I could keep friends who know how to swim.

But, for now, we should get out of the water. Please.
action;
[There's a secondary explosion, and a piece of debris narrowly misses them.]
...getting out of the water would be good.
[Swim swim swim!]
action;
Maybe when there is less of a risk of hypothermia. [beat] Or severe burns.

[She pulls up to the shore. Once Chekov is safely deposited, she starts ringing out her clothes. Times like this, it would be really useful to have her waterbending again.]
action;
[Some, not a lot. Chekov forgoes wringing out his clothes in favor of shaking like a wet dog.]
action;
[She grins. Today is not that day.]
