Uh.. yeah that's a definite difference. If a ghoul were living in your attic at home, anyone in the house would pretty much be dead. Seriously? Living in your attic?

Ghouls typically come with the house. Most people get rid of them like pests but ours is sort of... a pet? I don't know what to call him, exactly. They're harmless, though.

In my world, anyway. Do I even want to know what they're like in yours beyond "anyone in the house would be pretty much dead"?

Er... yeah, definitely not harmless. They're predators and they like killing. A single ghoul can go through forty or fifty pounds of meat in a day. Not too bright but they're hard as hell to kill to make up for it. I guess if you scared one enough you could keep it as a pet. Sort of like some people keep panthers as pets.
