[Good evening, City. One Doctor Emmett Brown is most certainly cursed today, if one can judge by the fact that the DeLorean rolls up to the square with the audio absolutely blasting. It's not entirely unlike this...
...of course, poor Doc has no idea what's blasting. (It's not really Thrift Shop, you'll just have to forgive his mun for being obsessed with Macklemore and OMG IT'S A DELOREAN.) But when the door swings up and open, hissing on its hydraulics as it does, he steps out in his bright printed shirt, slacks, and one flowing, dramatic long coat looking very much like a boss. He swings the door back down behind him, and starts dancing his way through the curse-party already happening in the square, the car still blasting music through its open windows. If you get near him, he may just grab you up as a partner briefly.
Doesn't move too bad for an old guy, either. Thanks, future restoration clinic!]

Chekov isn't actually cursed, but he has skipped out on work to act like he is. He's making a beeline to investigate the DeLorean's speakers, as he managed to notice it without noticing Doc and his magnificent outfit. Not that he'd refuse a dance with a science bro, that is.]

In fact, the flux capacitor and meters in the back appear to be lighting up in time with the rhythm, like they're a visualization. Perhaps the car itself is cursed.
Doc hasn't gone far and spots Chekov - and starts making his way back over to the car to say (dance?) hello.]
no subject
And hello, Doc. He crawls out of the DeLorean.]
Hello, Doctor. You seem very cursed today.
no subject
He does give Chekov a bright smile.]
Chekov! How good to see you.
[dance... dance... dance]
Though your observation is certainly accurate.

[Not dancing, but amused to no end.]
This curse is not so bad.

You do lend a certain style to this one.
no subject
I don't seem to have been given a great deal of choice in the matter! Of course, if you're going to be cursed, why not do it with style?
[A grin.]

Well. Given the nature of some of the curses, I can hardly complain about this.

Certainly - at the very least, this one isn't causing much in the way of extensive harm or trauma. On the other hand, I would hardly deny anyone the right to be annoyed by what is undeniably an obtrusive inconvenience, at the least.
no subject
I'm going to leave now, though. Before I get pulled into a dance.

Do have fun, though.

So he makes his way back to it, as he seems to be doing now and again, and inquires after her.]
I do hope you're all right, miss?

[Honestly, she shouldn't be surprised. He looks like his picture should be in the dictionary next to "Mad Scientist." She's just used to appearances being at least somewhat deceiving.]
no subject
[Yeah... yeah, he kind of has the patented look, doesn't he?]
no subject
I'm sorry if my dancing throws you off. You look very handsome, though! Not many people dressed up like this.
no subject
Nonsense, I'm quite certain you won't throw me off in the least! And I do thank you, quite humbly. It was rather compulsory; perhaps an effect of the curse.
no subject
It is nice to see. [Then, slight shock.] This is one of the curses?!
no subject
It is, indeed! Many of them are a good deal more dangerous in nature, but the City is not without those of the more innocuous variety.

The deities themselves, I believe, are more ambiguous on the matter of morality than anything else.
no subject
I didn't think they could be all bad. No one is, really.
no subject
I think Tohru's found a kindred spirit XD He's only way more intelligent
Any other kind. There are other kinds in the City? You mean non-humans? [Tohru hadn't even given that any thought. If someone was a vampire, they'd just be a person to her.]
no subject
Oh, yes, quite! Humanoid, for the most part, but certainly of a variety of species are represented. And even those who are human bear some genetic difference from one world to another, often possessing abilities that would be impossible within one's own reality.
no subject
[She's awed by this. Picturing worlds.]
voice;
voice;
Perhaps interference of some sort in the communications network...
[And, actually directed into the device,]
Yes, hello?
[All the while, still dancing. Of course.]
voice;
[She manages to avoid a second swoon.]
voice;
Ah, I hadn't even realized that I was transmitting! Though I suppose these devices are rather wont to do that, aren't they?
voice;
They seem to be, yes. I've not had that problem myself yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.
voice;
[Muttering, muttering, muttering... he's gotten quieter, speaking to himself over the course of that musing. He recalls himself and suddenly, speaks directly toward the device again. All the while dancing, because he basically has a limitless store of energy]
Ah, but forgive my lack of manners! Doctor Emmett Brown, at your service.
