I'm down one physics student, which leaves me with a lot more ticking time. I hate to admit it, but it's getting pretty hard to tolerate.

I guess... what I'm trying to say is that I could use some company. I'm going to find a decent, Cage-free restaurant and lunch will be on me.

[ you say that like you don't assume almost everything in his monthly allowance wasn't immediately spent on alcohol and other various and sundry things. he totally knows what ramen tastes like, if only from the first eight months of school. after that he alternated, and everything became takeout instead. ]

[ Tony's not particularly punctual, like, ever, so it's sometime after seven and closer to 7:30 when he shows up and knocks or rings the whatever or something. Probably both if you take more than a few seconds to get to the door, because once he already is somewhere, the waiting part sort of gets old fast. ]

[Probably a bit of both, since Bruce is in the living room reading and has to get to the door. He gives Tony a skeptical look for the knock-ringing and stands aside.]

I'm accusing you of some level of it, anyway. I don't know why the things that go on the bottom of your body are in the top drawer. I guess it's order of donning rather than order of use.

You can take it up with the furniture makers, since they tend to put the sundries drawers at the top.

[He's so rolling his eyes, Tony.] It's less nosy than probing you about how you're taking curses, whether you're making friends, what you're working on.

I haven't had any since that freaky injury curse, I am sitting in a friend's kitchen, and I'm working on some sort of synthetic liquid tissue. And sort of an electrosthetic conductor, but that's more of a pet project cum bunny trail than anything. You?

Huh. It sounds like you're settling in. I'd love to have a look at the liquid tissue. I might even have an idea or two in that direction that would be helpful.

[He slides a bowl full of broth and noodles in front of Tony before coming around to the other side of the bar to sit down with a bowl of his own.]

I've dodged curses since that weekend with Luke and Serrure. [Which he would like to have unhappen.] Other than that, I patch people up when they get dropped in my lap and keep working toward understanding this place.

I was hoping you'd know, since they're carrying on secret research under what's kind of your roof. I don't feel good about people who think they need secrets in a place like this.

[Maybe he sees Tony appraising his add-ins, maybe he's just being nice. Either way, he pushes the dishes over to Tony.]
