[ The first thing Miles does upon arrival is sigh in relief that the shooting stopped. The second thing he does is realize that he's not in the middle of a fight anymore, and wherever he is, he's in his suit without his change of clothes. The third thing he does is notice the device on the ground next to him. ]



I found this phone. Dont no whos it is, but if whoever you are sees this and wants it back Im chillin by the fountain. Just look for your friendly neighborhood Spiderman!

My hair, well you can't tell, but my hair's really short. But then again I'm a guy.

My mom always complains when her hair gets long, but it never goes very far past her shoulders.

Most of the guys I know have shorter hair...I think the longest I've seen on a guy was Thor, but he left a while ago, so I'm not too sure anymore.

Really? I mean, I guess it gets heavy once and a while, but it's something I'm used to...

So you've always had hair that long? Did your parents never let you cut it or anything?

Yep! Mother's never let me cut it.

And you never did it anyway, like, when you were a teenager? Just to rebel? I totally would've.

Naah. I ran away from home instead!

Oh I did that once. I didn't get very far though 'cause I had no money for the subway, so I just went to my friend's house and my mom came and got me the next morning.

We met some very nice thugs. Then I ended up here, so I guess it's been going pretty well so far!

Who's we? Also, I don't think they count as thugs if they're nice.

My friend Flynn and I. He's not here, though...

One of them had a hook for a hand, and I think they were all pretty tough guys, even if they were super nice. Can there be nice thugs?

Like how nobody I was with back home ended up here either?

I dunno, all the thugs I meet I end up having to fight.

Yeah, something like that! Sometimes people show up and then they go back...or they come back with no memories. This place is really confusing sometimes.

Oh. Well those were probably the bad kind then.

Yeah it sounds confusing. This girl I met said there are people in charge who call themselves deities?

[tangledintower]

Yeah, they call themselves that. They run the place and are the ones that dole out deals and curses.

They're not very nice, on the whole.

[spiderkid]

What deals and curses?

[tangledintower]

Well, I've never done it, but you can make deals with them in exchange for stuff...you have to trade something of equal value, though. And the curses...well, they're hard to describe. They happen every couple of days, though, and some of them aren't so bad, but some of them are awful...

They just... like... curse the people here?

[tangledintower]

Yeah...they're not always bad...but they usually are.

[spiderkid]

Like what sort of stuff happens?

[tangledintower]

Well, sometimes there are these weird weekends where different thins happen to everybody....or sometimes, there are other weekends where a whole bunch of people come for a few days.

Mostly though, they last for a day or 2, and it's...hard to describe...

I guess I'll just have to wait and see, then.

Hopefully your first curse won't be so bad...like I said, some of them are kind of fun!
