Eventually he lets out a soft sigh and reaches again to his device to switch the settings to a more private channel.]

I wished to speak with you about your recent network indiscretion that's undone years of careful maneuvering to keep our secret from the public.

Mind you, I understand this was hopefully the result of your being in a cursed state and not something that you'd do under normal situations. But I feel that we should discuss the possibility of creating a sort of safeguard to protect ourselves from others that might take an unhealthy interest in us here.

[He's considered this.] In me. So far as anyone here knows, I am the only... different one. Most know that I am protective of Saya, for all they know I am her bodyguard, chosen as such because of that difference.

[Pausing to consider, Solomon lightly taps his pen on paper underneath it.]

My concern isn't simply for Saya or all that I've worked so hard to build but it extends to you as well. We are family after all. We need to look out for each other. Not everyone in this City is harmless, even to us.

I appreciate that you are willing to differentiate yourself from us. But I hope you can understand my caution. We do have options on our side. Possibilities.

Naturally, I'd prefer to keep things within our little family, but in the past, I have found it helpful to hire outside assistance in the case that a cursed state might be detrimental in some way.

There's also the possibility that we can work towards getting your chiropteran arm replaced.

Are you certain? It'd be no matter for my company to research an alternative. We have had various successes with other cases that were thought of as impossible.
