[It's not been an easy few days for Korra. Having sex with Li would have been enough to deal with, but then Mako had to go and make a trade to get her life back. It was like he knew she was trying to get over him and didn't want her to.

People told her she should be grateful and thank him, and she knew he had made no easy sacrifice for her. That's why she's so angry with him, because it made her love him more when she just wants to move on. She doesn't want to spend the rest of her time here being cut up inside by Mako and Asami's happiness.

She's spent a lot of time hiding from her friends and crying. She wishes her mother were here, or Master Katara. The older waterbender had always understood Korra's troubles, and never judged her for her mistakes.

But neither Katara nor her mother are here, and Korra has had to work through everything alone. Today, she's finished crying. It's time to start dealing with things.]

Uh, just out of curiosity... What happens if you do something that could get you sick while you're City dead, and then somebody makes a deal and you're not dead anymore? Can you still get sick from the thing before?

[ Mako isn't that hard to find. He's either in his room, lounging in the living room, or he's outside in the garage or else on the front step. These days he's usually on the front step in the sun trying to soak as much of it up as he possibly can since he'd given up his firebending and lost the feeling of eternal and internal heat.

However, not today. Mako's exhausted as he enters the apartment and it shows, the day of patrol long for some reason. He lets himself in and drops his sack on the nearest chair. There's got to be something in the kitchen for him to fix up, is all he can think about right now as he heads in that direction, hands dragging through his hair and mussing it up everywhere. ]
