[The woods are quiet, but then there's an explosion of leaves as one kid, black hair, green eyes, flings himself on a pile of leaves. It's really obvious he's unsupervised. What's less obvious is that he kind of snuck out.

He goes again - run, jump, leaves everywhere, and then laughing, but that's when he notices the recording]

[He peers into the lens]

Hi, my name is Derek.

[Another pause, and now he's got a slightly more serious face]

Mom, if you're watching, I tried to wait for you, I really did.

Dude, you're going to have to show me how far you can jump. It's like a rite of passage.

[And there he goes, flying into a pile. Leaves everywhere.]

[ Oh god. ]

Now that was just killer. Ten points, little wolf.

[ He is going to bruise and regret this tomorrow but he doesn't give a crap. He takes a run up and then fires himself into the leaves. ]

Oh god, ow. I think I got one in my mouth.

[He pounces on Stiles then. Because that's what packs do]

[ He's just going to toss leaves in little Derek's hair. ] Oh my god, that's totally cheating.

[ Placing more leaves in Derek's hair. ]

[He issues a fake growl and chews on Stiles' shoulder - not hard, though]

[ Hysterical laughter. ]

No wait, I'm totally not food. I already fed you.

[He stops nomming and just...relaxes, for a minute]

[ Putting another leaf in Derek's hair because this is too hilarious. ]

You're a cute kid.
