[Maybe if he posts he can keep attention off of Sara's situation? Long shot, but it might help. And aside from that, he wants to brag a little about his own curse.]
[Those that know him, might see his smile is a lot brighter than it's been the past month or so. And he seems way too cheerful for someone that's been cursed.]
Not being able to fly kinda sucks, otherwise, I think I could get used to this.
Anyone want to just play basketball today?
[Anyone that runs into him today, accustomed to sensing or seeing auras, might notice Setsuna's is different/very small. It no longer has large wings, or a bright golden glow. He just walks about, grinning like the world is doing him a favor. Feel free to disabuse him of that notion. He's hit by the Average Joe curse. Whole life is the same, but suddenly his powers are just GONE. So is the Alexiel that was sleeping in him.]

Saya? What happened to your hair? [He grins, though, reaching out to touch the shorter ends.] It was so long it was probably a hassle, huh? I know that feeling.
[It's okay if she can't speak too fluently, yet. His amount of talking can more than make up for it.]

Sestuna, like? [His opinion matters, of course! Even if it's too late to be asking.]
no subject
[And he totally approves.]
no subject
...Diva? [Unlike most words she's relearning for the first time, there's no mispronunciation of Diva's name, no fumbling or uncertainty. Saya doesn't understand why, but that name troubles her greatly.]
no subject
Is something wrong? About Diva?
no subject
[And as if that moment never happened, Saya moves right along.] Setsuna, happy? [She noticed that broad smile, before.]
no subject
Yeah. [His smile slowly returns.] I'm very happy to see you. When you can fully talk, we should teach you how to use the device so we can keep in touch.
no subject
[But her attention span at the moment is very small, and if she has any memory of what just transpired she's not showing it. Instead she pulls two things out of her pocket: the aforementioned device, and Charlie's wedding invitation. She presents both to Setsuna, a questioning but hopeful look on her face. If one of these two things isn't what he's talking about, she's out of ideas.]
no subject
[He points to the device.] Device.
Oh! And Charlie invited you to the wedding, of course. You should get something nice for it.
no subject
Device. [She shakes the thing, her ear put to it to see if it makes noise. It made noise before, like talking! Then she frowns, and shakes harder. Do what she wants, device!]
no subject
[He laughs, gently, though, before putting his hand out to take it.] They're all different, but the power button should be similar. Or at least easy to locate. You keep shaking it, though, and it might turn on by accident.
no subject
[Her fingers brush through her hair, because freshly cut hair feels nice.]
Setsuna, love? [Will he be getting married too?]
no subject
That's a complicated thing, right now. I don't know.... [He loved Sara. That was no longer in question. But it was uncertain, as of yet, how she felt for him. And he wasn't sure how to explain that to Saya, especially when he had avoided talking about it.]

Look, if you push here, it will turn on. [The screen lights up.] See? On.
no subject
[She pokes at the device, randomly pressing whatever buttons there are.]
no subject
You can see all sorts of things, though. [He reaches over to scroll through the network.] See? When you can talk again, you can use this to contact Karl, instead of dealing with him in person.

He keeps saying you're family [and Setsuna takes family pretty seriously, and he gets the vibe Karl does, too], so you're gonna need to address him at some point.
If you use this, though, you'll be safe. You'll be on one side and he'll be on the other.
no subject
[Being told what to do, not her favorite thing.]
no subject
Hey. You don't have to. [He hands back the device.] But I think you SHOULD. I know guys like him. Have dealt with them. If you don't address him, he'll get WORSE. Not better. You have to be firm with them and tell them exactly how it is.
Otherwise, he'll hunt you down to tear off parts of you piece by piece. I lived that shit. I don't want to see it happen to you.
no subject
Setsuna know him? Karl? [She clearly gets that they have some sort of knowledge of one another before she arrived, but the word she's looking for is how does Setsuna know Karl.]
no subject
[Her question causes Setsuna to frown, severely. He draws into himself a bit.] Know him? I'm not sure.
He's not very informative about himself. I did meet him as a kid. And he's taunted me. Taken blood without permission. [He starts listing things while moving his hands.] I think he's tried to convince me to sleep with him, too, and taught me some French.
But that doesn't really mean I know him. I just...thought we were friends.
no subject
[She seems to struggle to place her focus back on Setsuna, but she does. her nose wrinkles up when Setsuna seems unhappy -- she doesn't want him unhappy.] Bad friend.
Saya help. [She leans forward, toward a forceful hug if he doesn't stop her. She'll make it better! Somehow!]
no subject
But... What do you mean help? How are you gonna help? You gotta worry about yourself, first. [The hug surprises him, a little, but then he, gently, puts his arms around her, fully.]
