It's alright, Charlie. Lina tells me she sent them somewhere terrible. I'm as cross as you we hadn't the chance to burn it all, but these gods do seem very inventive, and just as displeased. I know gods. Trust me, wherever they are is far more horrible than what we might have done, with limited resources.

[ Howard, who's not been out as much as he should for a while, decides to take a day away from City Solutions and thinks it's about time he stopped by. He might not have been in touch all that much, but he's been keeping tabs, watching the network and occasionally asking around, so getting her new address doesn't take much effort.

He's knocking at her door, Chinese take-out in one hand and beer under the other, and selfishly hoping it's just going to be Charlie who's in. ]

[Everyone is feeding Charlie today. This is the opposite of how things usually go. She doesn't mind it as much, though. She checks through the peep-hole, smile fixing itself on her face. It's Pavel. That works for her.

The door opens and she crouches just as Phantom tries to streak by, scooping up the animal and stepping back to let Pavel in.] Hi, Pavel. How's it goin'?

Howard Stark was by earlier. So far, that was it. [Charlie takes one look at the bottle of vodka and goes for her shot glasses. She usually has it with orange juice or soda. But today calls for having it as is. For the violets, there's an empty vase on the windowsill that she grabs.]

[ Arthur's certainly taking his day off in stride, grabbing a giant bag of popcorn and staring down the PS3 in the family room with an evil glare. ]

[Charlie has tea and a book. And a Petrichor on her shoulder who is busy trying to turn the pages for Charlie. This is pretty much a common sight in the mansion. She doesn't look up at Arthur. Just speaks.]
