[Apparently trying to rescue people is a bad idea. It just gets people to notice you. The wrong sorts of people.

Theo is scrunched up in the middle of a cage that's got crosses pasted to the bars. To not help matters they've taken away his sunglasses so he's nearly blind. It shows off his silver eyes however. He also looks like half mummied corpse, his pale skin even paler and his fingers practically bone.

There's a voice calling out to people to get their own unique souvenirs from the necrotic master. These are the corpses of rats. They're tossed into the cage with strings attached and when they get near Theo they start to wiggle and squirm. The corpses have gone from dead to undead zombie rats. What better pet could you want?

Whenever people get too close he tries slam a foot at them before jerking back with a cry of pain from the crosses.]

Let me out you maggot ridden slime rots!

[Which is when he barely avoids getting hit by holy water.]

A good idea, except I'm still stuck in here and I can barely see. Unless you can get me out.

Only takes one. Plus the poor planning on the carnival's part. String can be easily gnawed thru. Highly unlikely the rats are of the docile pet quality. Were probably street caught and those kind are vectors for all sorts of things - even more so after your 'treatment'.
