When they get home, he opens the door for her, and comes in afterward.]

[She hesitates before putting on the coat because really, it's a shame to cover up, then again, it's the Doctor's coat. She likes the coat a lot. Finally she slips it on, letting it hang open as she nods and takes his hand.

Nothing interesting to see here. Just a Pretty Woman moment with the girl in too little clothes and the man's coat to keep her from getting too many looks.

She looks around the flat then back to him, grinning a bit with the tip of her tongue between her teeth.]

What've you got in mind now, Doctor?

[He doesn't know that he really had anything in mind aside from getting her home and then before that and around that he was sort of still thinking about chemistry so... Yes and no?]

Maybe? I have a microscope here although I don't really think it's enough to do what I need it to. We could work on trying to get the rabbits to jump over things again. They don't seem to be that hoppy for hoppy things, and Stormy's really got all his fur back - not that he lost a whole lot to begin with.

Never did say exactly how he lost his fur. [Rose suspects the Doctor had something to do with that.] Could work with the rabbits a bit, yeah.

[She's going to continue to prance about in very few clothes and his coat.]

[He might've done. He's not saying.] You don't sound interested in playing with the rabbits?

[She's hard to stop watching, with her prancing about like that.] What did you want to do then?

[She didn't expect he would. She shrugs a bit at his question.] If that's what you want to do, yeah we can teach the rabbits a bit.

Didn't have any definite plans.

[And now she's giving him that tip of the tongue between her teeth grin and sliding one shoulder of his coat down.]

Well...with me lookin' like this and you lookin' like that...few thoughts occurred to me.

[Eyes immediately drawn to the tongue and then follow to the movement of the coat. Aaand pretty much stay there. He does distractedly reply:]

[Oh she sees where his eyes are going. She bites her bottom lip and reaches up to undo the first hook and eye closure on the bustier she's wearing. She undoes it and looks up at him from beneath her eyelashes then moves to the next one, undoing each one slowly.]

Yeah...noticed that. Rather like that 'bout you. The way you look, I mean.

[That is so much more fascinating than it has a right to be. He glances between the motion and her eyes a couple of times, about to ask her whether she means she likes that the way he looks doesn't change or she likes the look itself, and then abruptly shifts thought processes.]

You're cursed. You should... lie down or something.

[She lets the bustier fall to the floor and nods, taking a step toward him. She's still wearing her coat and the boy short sorta things she wore to work.]

Goin' to come lie down with me?

[He tracks that too, falling to the floor, but looks back up at her faster than he would have a few moments ago.]

That's not what I meant. Rose, you're cursed.

[She's just going to give him a confused look. Clearly he's interested and he obviously sees where she's going with this.]

Yeah, that's why we're home early.

[He runs a hand through his hair in annoyance with a small sigh, scratching the back of his head when he gets there and then looking up at her with his head still dropped.]

Yeah, it is why we're home early, but... It's like... Possession. You're not, entirely, yourself, right now. I mean, obviously you're still you! you're still Rose! But, the influence...

[He really doesn't want to accidentally wind up in a hole and feels like that was sort of maybe okay so he sort of trails off there and stops.]

[Oh. She's beginning to get his point and if it weren't for the fact that he's clearly struggling with this, she might feel like an idiot standing there in nothing but his coat. As it is, she stands there with one hip cocked out, her hand on her hip. She's processing what he's saying, deciding how she feels about it and how she's going to react. She knows how she wants to react but it's not very fair to him and it's possible he's got a point. She can't imagine that they'd do anything she'd regret just because she's cursed.]

Like with Cassandra. [That makes a bit of sense to her. She has thought before that she would have preferred her first kiss with the Doctor be her rather than Cassandra. Sure, she was inside there but it was like feeling something through thick wool. ] You know I wouldn't make this sorta offer to anyone else, yeah? Just you.

[Really, he did very well. He even mostly got his point across and she's not angry.]

[Watch as about ten square metric tons of pressure bleed out of his posture.]

Yes, exactly! I mean, yes, exactly. Just like Cassandra.

Which [offer. No. It seems like there are two: one was the obvious one, and then the other was the one to not do the obvious one, because clearly she's not that pleased about the negation. But this is going well and that would be not.] rabbit do you want?

[She notices that and even if she's not happy about the cause of it, she's glad he's less tense. She sighs and pulls his coat a bit around her, picks up the bustier and tosses it onto the couch.]

[Excellent decision, Doctor. That would have gotten him one Rose Tyler, storming out of the flat. Sure, she'd probably only get as far as his other self's flat but she'd beg and plead with him not to tell this one that she was there and this one spend the day wondering where she was at and what she was doing.]

[That would be mean, Rose Tyler. From his perspective. In actuality it... would only be a little mean? He probably ought to learn to think a little before speaking at some point, anyway.

Her logic is slightly more than mildly amusing but he can't tell if they're back to settled enough to show it yet and mostly shifts his weight a little and tries not to grin a bit.] Sounds good to me.

[It would be mean. There's no real way around that. He did an excellent job of thinking before he spoke there.

They're mostly settled. She gets what he's saying. She doesn't like it right now and she wants to protest, but in a way, it's a bit sweet. At least the way she's choosing to look at it is a bit sweet: he doesn't want to have sex with someone or something that isn't entirely her. That's sweet. Whether it's actually his viewpoint on it or not, she has no idea.

She can sort of see he's trying not to grin. She rolls her eyes at him. She thinks her logic is fantastic, thank you very much.] I'll go get 'em.

[And she's walking out of the room into whichever room the bunnies cages are kept. She comes back with a bunny under each arm, still wearing his coat and nothing else because since she is cursed, it hasn't occurred to her that maybe it's not appropriate attire for teaching bunnies to do things.]

[He's better at it when he's already in a bit of trouble.

Hey it was good logic! It was just funny logic. They're not... Entirely mutually exclusive. He takes the eye roll as further proof he is in the clear though, and goes a little bouncier.

[Hmmm good point but most people are. It gives them extra incentive to tread carefully.

She does like that he's a bit bouncier and at least she's still interesting, if peculiar. She hands over his rabbit to him and holds up hers.]

He takes the rabbit though, and holds it at arm's length to peer at it for all of two seconds before the rabbit decides this is not the thing that is going to be happening right now and starts to wig out a bit and he has to quickly pull it back towards him and hold it still so he can set it down. Rabbits. Why did they get rabbits.] Bad Wolf likes four paws on the ground. Which I suppose makes sense, since neither namesake is particularly aeronautical. Now there's a word that doesn't make sense.

[She'd appreciate that. The always being interesting bit. She has to show him different shades of interesting so he doesn't get bored with her.

Oncoming Storm is a bit happier tucked into Rose's chest which is a good thing because she's going to end up with rabbit scratches for sure otherwise. She sets him down next to Bad Wolf then straightens up. They got rabbits because the rabbits needed a good home. She rescued the rabbits, Doctor.]
