[ An underwear thief? How quaint. It's a shame she's far more used to going without then wearing any to begin with. She doesn't even notice its lack.

However, what might be just a little... strange is that there's a Diva showing on the flickering video screen, naked and curled around a cocoon. Two, in fact. Her precious babies. Crooning, she barely spares a glance to the video screen before she tapers off into a hum. ]

See what Karl's given me? [ she still hasn't gotten over it, the little gift that showed up on her doorstep one day, almost a week ago now. ] Don't even think of taking them back. [ her eyes glint a light blue, a warning to any deity hanging around. Or anyone else for that matter. Laughing, softly, she relaxes again and croons and caresses and hoards. ]

Well, I used to visit Karl before, I don't see why I shouldn't now. And, I really did want to see Nathan's changes. Place looked a little more welcoming on the network.

He's actually fun, for me. I mean, he can be an ass, but I like fighting with him. And some of the strange talks we have are educational for me.

[ she giggled then ] You fight with him? He must like you a lot, if you're still breathing.

Um, yeah. It's fun. Huh? Really? I mean, he's faster and all....

You didn't know? [ her eyes go wide before she laughs ] He's loves the scent of blood as much as I do. And once he starts, it's so hard to make him stop...

Oh, no. I know that. Very well. But now that you mention it...the last time, he stopped. He didn't used to. Not without me beating him off.

Hmm... [ how curious. Karl's been keeping a pet. ] Perhaps he's losing interest then. [ or growing far, far, far too close ]

[A very cheerful, willing pet, that he's teaching things to.] Losing interest would make Kira-senpai happy, at least. [But Setsuna feels a little sad at the idea.]

And you? [ her voice is lazy, but there's a need to know, a quiet eagerness in the silence that followed. Just how much should she worry. How much does she need to make Karl beg? ]

...I like things they way they are. I'd miss Karl. But, well, if that's how it goes, I'd move on.

[ her eyes are wide, uncomprehending. To give up is just... unacceptable. Then again, she did understand boredom. ]

Well, what could I do? Could I force him to stay interested in me? I don't think it works like that. I don't like it, at least.

Sometimes...sometimes you just have to put the other person before yourself and your own wants. I think that would be one of those situations.

[ ... that makes even less sense then anything else he's said. To just... give up? Put them before you?

Impossible. But words she may yet still dwell on ] Then take him, make him yours.

Ah... but I can't let that happen. Perhaps it is for the best. [ and then she hummed, a few soft bars that every chevalier could here no matter where they were. Diva was singing, calling. It was a reminder. ]

[ and then she shivered, mind blanking as she remembered another cage, another trapped bird singing to the only blue sky she could see. She hated that place. ]
