Whining. Ticking. Day in. Day out.
It's been suggested that the City clock is a power-source. The Carousel -- the 'heart' of the City -- is situated above the Clock. It rotates in time to the Clock's ticking. The apartment buildings form a clock-shape. Curses range from 24 to 48 hours. City dead are revived within 24 hours. The patterns are obvious. But do they mean anything?
Unlikely.
Perhaps the Clock serves no purpose but an exercise of repetition. The Citizens have certainly perfected it. Curses strike. They whine. Curses end. They whine. They blame the 'Deities' for their predicament. They idiotically make them seem more powerful than they are. Except there's no one to blame. It's whining for whining's sake. Existence, in case you haven't realized, is unpredictable. Things change rapidly. People die. They fight. They betray. No one has control over anything.
The City is no different.
Whining will do nothing to change that. Nor will playing the hero out to *fix* everything. Suffering -- cursed or uncursed -- is nothing new.
Either grow up, or shut up.
[ OOC: Obviously, the post is a double-edged sword. Hei isbeing a troll gauging other peoples' responses. Welcome to the mind of a heartless bastard Contractor. Post is anonymous and untraceable. ]
