It could be they've just turned into a bird and flew away - or a mermaid, or whatever is thrown at us. Maybe the next step ought to be breaking out the bloodhounds or combing through our particular selection of vampires or other supernatural creatures, but I happened to skip the optimistic parts and go straight for the Hall, today.
