The curses seem rather varied today, don't they? Is this something that occurs every month, or is it something unusual that I've been unlucky enough to experience throughout my time here? I haven't noticed any particular curse I may be experiencing, but...
[That's just because he hasn't spoken out loud all day. As soon as he attempts to finish that sentence, however, something entirely different comes out of his mouth. Song.]
Somewhere, beyond the sea
Somewhere, waiting for me
My...
[His voice isn't bad, per se, but it sounds as though he's not used to singing much in his spare time, and the expression on his face is murderous.]
That was unintentional, I assure you. I'm not in the habit of...
[And again, song comes out instead.]
The world has gone mad today
And good's bad today,
And black's white today,
And day's night today.
[With this unintentional burst of song, and a disgusted look, he shuts off the video feed quickly.]

Re: Audio;
For there's a change in the weather
There's a change in the sea
So from now on there'll be a change in me...
[A long suffering sigh.]
Damn.
Re: Audio;
Re: Audio;
[At least he managed several sentences that time without the interruption of a song.]
Re: Audio;
[It wasn't. She is just being a brat.]
Re: Audio;
In this strange illusion, chaos and confusion
People seem to lose their way
What is there to strive for, love or keep alive for...
[He manages to cut himself off once again.]
I suppose you don't have an irritating curse to contend with, even if you desperately deserve one.
Audio;
[This, she actually means.]
Re: Audio;
Re: Audio;
[She gets the feeling he's aware he's being trolled, actually.]
Re: Audio;
You're really swell, I have to admit, you
Deserve expressions that really fit you
And so I've wracked my brain, hoping to explain
All the things...
[Another sigh.]
And that song was entirely inappropriate given the fact that you're not being swell so much as snide.
Re: Audio;
[And laughing. Loads of laughing.]
Re: Audio;
video:
...at least you have a nice singing voice?
Re: video:
At words poetic, I'm so pathetic
That I always have found it best,
Instead of getting 'em off my chest,
To let 'em rest unexpressed,
I hate parading my serenading
As I'll probably miss a bar,
But if this ditty is not so pretty
At least it'll tell you
How great you are.
[Well. That was a rather lengthy way of expressing his appreciation for her attempt at making him feel less awkward about this curse. He coughs uncomfortably.]
video:
Are these all songs from home?
Re: video:
They are. Some of which I haven't listened to for years, but which apparently made their way into my subconscious for just this sort of occasion.
Re: video:
[But Charlie doesn't actually sleep much. And her 'grandmother' and 'grandfather' were just a nice old couple whose hearts broke for a violently orphaned girl.]
They're fantastic songs.
Re: video:
But what's the good of scheming
I'm dreaming
For I don't stand a ghost of a chance with...
[That was certainly not the song he'd meant to break out into, if indeed he'd meant to break out into song at all. No, that one was far too flirtatious, and he consciously cut himself off.]
I apologize. This curse is unpleasant, to say the least.
Re: video:
Just think. Midnight will be here and you'll be done singing.
Re: video:
[Though he's aware he looks good for his age, he still knows he's quite a bit older than a fair number of people here.]
What if this ridiculous curse lasts more than a day?

Re: video:
We're all between perdition
And the deep blue sea...
[A sigh.]
At least I was able to keep that one to a line of song only. I won't begin to ask how this curse works.

Re: video:
Re: video:
[Given what he did back home, well, bribery was like second nature to him.]
[Video]
It seems to occur every month.
Re: [Video]
[Video]
I'd imagine it was for most people.
Re: [Video]
They used to tell me I was building a dream
With peace and glory ahead
Why should I be standing in line...
[A frown.]
That was unintentional.
[Video]
[ Doesn't stop it being funny. ]
Re: [Video]

Re: [Video]
[He pauses, clearly trying to avoid bursting out into song again.]
... sure of that.

Re: [Video]
I'll hold you personally responsible if it sticks around for more than that, then.
[It's hard to tell whether he's joking or not.]
[Video]
[ Why do people always blame him? ]
But it wasn't me.
Re: [Video]
[Video]
Yeah, I've heard similar jokes before.
Re: [Video]
[Video]
I don't know? It depends on how they're delivered, I guess.
[ And when. What's happened recently, and whatnot. ]
