[Just before midnight, Luke looking his baseline level of amused, plus a generous helping of put-upon.]

That was an unfortunate curse yesterday, wasn't it? I do hope everyone came out of it alright. Which reminds me, Charlie, I think now would be a good time f--

[At which point, it hits midnight. Luke breaks off, looking confused for a moment and then his eyes widen and he opens his mouth...

...just in time for it to get stitched back together, his lips meeting and closing as a leather string passes through it. He makes a muffled, pained noise as it completes its path and knots itself at the end.

There's a moment where he just stares at the screen, somewhat vaguely before he gathers himself together and shuts it off. Text appears an hour later.]

Text me, Charlie.

[ooc: Souvenirs you never lose. That one time Loki nearly lost his head. Yeah.]

Oh yes, because it would be awfully awkward otherwise.

Especially if you were to run into an enemy.

If I were to run into an enemy, my attire would be the least of their concerns.

Unless they were a fashion villain. Or perverse.

I was thinking that an enemy might have the effect of counteracting the power of friendship.

I am unaware of friendship having any tangible magic power.

You would know this if you spent more time on the internet, Leah.

[ Leah hijacks it, making her own green fire frowny face. ]

[Serrure just flicks the face.]

[Luke rehijacks it and the face EATS SERRURE'S HAND. Only not actually.]

[ Leah animates a clump of snow into a monster to do battle with the face. ]

[Pleased at Leah's save! Not that he thought the smilie would eat him forreal.]

[The smiley shudders and grows backwards into a massive dragon-y serpent sort of thing which does its level best to "strangle" the snow monster.]

[ The snow monster-- which may or may not have come to think of itself as 'abominable'-- tries to throw the serpent off it's back, but in the end it's a battle between ice and fire, and Luke's magic is stronger than Leah's. Still, Leah laughs as her monster melts away. ]

A tie, to be sure, for such a show. [And since neither of them are looking, snow down their respective shirts/dresses.]

[Luke is in the middle of more muffled laughter when there's a sudden pocket of a different temperature down his shirt and he makes a shocked sound before slamming a hand over his mouth. After a moment, he starts laughing again, and wipes his hand discreetly on his trousers. The triumphant serpent reforms itself into letters.]

Oh, Serrure, now I shall have a wet patch on my shirt.

[ Leah gasps and downright tackles Loki into the snow, but at Luke's muffled gasp, all her attention returns to her injured friend. You can be sure she's checking that wipe for blood. ]

Have you pulled your stitches?

[Serrure is frowning, too.] That was not mean to be painful. Would anything help?

[Luke shakes his head. B'aww, you guys are adorable.]

No, it wasn't painful. Leah already numbed my mouth. It was only that the snow was surprising.

All the same, perhaps we should tone it down.

[ Someone has to be the adult around here. ]

Yes. You are in a delicate condition. We ought to tuck you into bed and read you dull stories.

I'm already settled in the snow: that ought to be close enough.

Loki, we needn't go that far. Just no more shenanigans! [ With that she tackles Loki again into the snow. ]

Ack! [And that would be a faceplant in the snow.]
