Yesterday seemed so sad. Even if it was just a curse, everyone was acting as if they were going to be separated even before they were married. Why would anyone want to sign such a negative agreement in anticipation for a life long journey together? Isn’t that why you make sure you find ‘the one’ meant for you, to ensure you two can have a life happy together? I suppose creating and signing such a contract seems so counterproductive to marriage. If a problem arises, then the two of you should work together to fix it, right? Because… you love each other, right?

[Because marriage was supposed to be about love; a binding contract between two people. Being a princess, perhaps her ‘marriage’ to anyone would be different, unless she went out and decided to spend her life with the one she loves. So yes, her saying this is hypocritical in a sense, but it’s so sad. But if she had to be married, she would want to spend her life with the one she loves. That would make her happy.]

Um, well, I suppose on the rare chance it occurs, it's decided between them what items and property legally belongs to who.

It's not that rare an occurrence where I come from, so. Most of the time it saves them the trouble.

That's so sad to hear. Why would anyone get married if they knew it likely wouldn't work out?

Well, marriage is supposed to be a happy thing, and it's also a binding contract, right? It seems so counter-intuitive to go into marriage believing that it won't work out in the end.

I sure hope no one was hurt. It honestly makes me wonder if anyone truly wanted to be married to the one they were cursed with.

I thought I was going to be married to someone I deeply care for. It made me happy, though I suppose the harm done by the curse was done after it was over. There are also times where it's fun to join in with the cursed, such as the day everyone wanted to dance. I also remember a curse where some people thought they were a princess and acted accordingly!

Yes, it really can. People often speak of the curses being bad, but sometimes they're good!
