Hey, sweetie! [ Getting to her feet, the video transmits a wonky view from the floor where it's broadcasting amidst a pile of tools. Asami pecks her boyfriend on the cheek, delighted. ] Wow, did you make this yourself?

[ Mako takes in the sight of her first before anything else, the smudges of dirt and oil on her skin, the creases in her used shirt stained from whatever she's been doing all this time. He smiles because of that (and the peck cause what boyfriend doesn’t like pecks from his girlfriend?), because she really seems to love this sort of thing. He sets the plate down on the nearest table cleared of tools and other oddities used for repairing scrap, slides an arm around her waist to pull her in close. ]

Are you really that surprised?

[ His nose nuzzles hers, and the smear of dirt there. But Mako doesn’t care. ]

So, how's it going in here? Is this what's been keeping you from me this entire time? [ Nodding over her shoulder to the moped laying around in pieces. ]

Afraid so. [ The Eskimo Water Tribe kiss is returned affectionately, her arms draped around his waist as she coos. ] You can have me back before nightfall, I promise.

[ Noticing the smudge on his nose from her own, she touches her face and laughs, hiding behind a hand.]

I'm filthy, aren't I? Don't look.

What? [ Seeing only her eyes peeking over top of her hand he puts two and two together, touching a finger to his own nose. Oh. That. Mako snorts. ] Stop it.

[ He reaches up to take her hand away so he can see all of her face. ]

It's cute. A little dirt never hurt anyone anyway. [ There's a particularly dark smear on her cheek. Mako leans in again to press his cheek to hers and rub, arms tightening around her. ] I turned out alright, didn't I?

[ A light thwap is given to his arm as she bends on him a put-out look, quickly ruined by a smile when he rubs their cheeks and shares the muck. ]

If you get stains on your clothes, it is not my fault. And I guess you turned out okay.

[ Wrinkling her grubby nose at him playfully, she turns in his arms as though to escape them. ]

A few oil stains? Nah. I've had worse things stain my clothes before. [ Such as Bolin retching all over him one time when they were much younger. But she doesn't need to know that right now. With her turned in his arms Mako takes a moment to admire the line of her shoulder, which is lacking any dirt and oil whatsoever. He drops a kiss to the ball of it. ] There's a smudge. Here's a smudge. Oh - here too. [ He drops another and another ('and here. And here.'), making his way along the slender crook of her neck and shoulder, a hand lifting to pull her thick hair aside. ]

You 'guess'? [ For that he’s going to gently rake his top teeth along the sensitive skin. ]

[ Any protests she gives are token, her giggles see to that ('Mako, no! Stop, don't you dare!'), basking under the attention while a rosy blush rises to her cheeks. Wiggling her tickled arms as his lips ghost here and there, it's only when he nearly nips that she shivers and raises a hand to cup his cheek, turning her head to seal a firm, chaste kiss. ]

Thank you for bringing me dinner. [ Amused, she tacks on; ] I hope you're going to re-heat it for me at this rate, champ.

[ The device must be suffering from cavities by now, because it conks out. ]

She's also grinning. She likes seeing them happy together, without any pangs of jealousy.]

[ The weirdest easiness has settled between the two girls. Usually, Korra would be falling over herself to awkwardly escape any couple-y shenanigans, but with the brazen teasing lately has also come a sense of honest acceptance regarding Asami's relationship with Mako. It's still kind of strange how confidently the other girl is working through her emotions, but there certainly won't be any complaints getting voiced.

Pecking Mako on the cheek, she adds to the Avatar; ]

Do you want the shower first? You must be exhausted.

[ It's so peaceful when there isn't anything to suspect a close friend of. ]
