[ Blueprints cover a table in the Avatar 2.0 household, sketches of what looks like a 1920's steampunk-esque car. To Asami, of course, it's the latest model. ]

I've been wondering how to help out around this place and I think I've got it. You could call me a sometime-engineer and these are drawings of a regular Satomobile, a race-car and a taxi-cab invented by my family. They're mostly doodled from memory, so please excuse any mistakes. It would really benefit the city to have a police cab around too, but I'm still working on the designs for that.

[ Turning the camera back to face her, she's shown to be prettily made-up as usual, this time with a red scarf whirled around her neck. ]

I'd love it if somebody wouldn't mind investing in the creation of these automobiles. On the other hand, I'm not going to delude myself. I need a job to afford kick-starting this sort of project ... something linking back to mechanics would be great, obviously. I guess you could call this a mini-showcase of what I can do. Oh! [ Snapping her fingers. ] As someone who's trained since she was a little girl, I can also teach self-defence classes to anyone who needs to brush-up on theirs.

Don't worry about a job being too difficult for me, I can handle myself.

I've heard it can actually drive you insane. Not sure how. But it seems scary. [ And inconvenient. He values his privacy. ] Well -- [ Awkward pauuuuuuuse. ] I considered getting a dog. But I had a bad experience with a giant scary dog-thing. It changed my mind.

Ah! [ The blush darkens. ] That's very kind of you, Miss Asami. But I wouldn't want to be a bother.

Bolin, Korra and Mako are actually my best friends. How do you know them?

[ So shy! He's given a Look as if to say I wouldn't offer if it was an inconvenience. ]

You're not a bother, Li. We could all do with someone to spend a little time with in this city to take our minds off things.

I've spoken with Bolin a few times. And Pabu. [ Hesitating. ] Korra too. I think she's a little angry with me.

[ Something about giving her a surprise(!!!)smooch during a curse. ]

...I guess you're right about that. [ But company can be volatile and unsettling. Especially for someone fresh from a warzone. Even innocent words have a way of triggering ugly past memories. He's forgotten how to be normal. ] It's nice of you to offer, all the same. [ Still blushing. ]

[ It's weird to think of Korra holding a grudge and since the Avatar hasn't directly mentioned anyone having upset her, except some jerk who tried to apologise with a cake, Asami bolsters her offer when he's reticent. ]

I'm sure I could see about Pabu coming along if that'd put you more at ease.

[ Has Korra mentioned a masked man who knocked her out with an electric-blast? That was 'Li' too. ]

I'd like that. [ A timid little laugh. ] Just you and Bolin would be fine too, really. I'd be happy to whip up some food if you drop by.

[ Haha, does Korra tell anyone anything about her problems ... ;; ]

It's impressive that you can cook for three. I'm terrible, myself, so you'd be sort of saving both mine and Bolin's lives if you did.

It'd be no trouble at all. Cooking's a hobby of mine. [ A practical way to stay centered. ] I do lots of Western and Asian cuisine. Desserts too, if you and Bolin have a sweet-tooth.

I know Bolin could eat for a small army and I've been perpetually famished since I arrived, so anything you want to whip up would be greatly appreciated. You'll have to come over to ours sometime and have dinner with the whole gang.

[ Hallelujah. Li isn't the only one with the bottomless appetite. ] Dinner with the gang sounds great, thanks. [ Bashful. He'd be the quietest, derpiest dinner-guest ever. ] I work at a cafe, so I'm always experimenting with pastries lately. I'll be sure to have a trayload ready if you come calling.

[ It's no surprise Bolin makes such nice friends. ]

Oh? [ Going cherry-red. ] It's, um, Cafe Satine. Affiliated to a boutique called Passione. You're more than welcome to drop in. The pastry selection is delicious. [ Potential customers are always good B) ]

[ Pastry ... mmm. She's been living off Airbender Island meals for a long time. They're great! But. Pastries. ]

Pick out something for me? I like sweet dishes.
