66 - [action]
[ In the proud tradition of schipperkes...Tyr has decided that everything is his. After being taken from the house after barking at Flynn to back out of the kitchen (maybe with a few growls thrown in there...), he has decided to sit outside of various restaurants...and bark at anyone who looks sort of suspicious approaching.
Depending on how scary a dog that's not even knee-high is, this could work out well for him! ]
[ ooc: Action for when he was still at the beach house is also okay! ]

[ ...Running between her legs. :3c ]

Hah-!
[She grabs for him!!
And misses. HUFF.]

[ He woooon! He skids to a stop and flops over to roll around on his back. ]
no subject
[She whips around, ready to chase him some more!!
...Wait why is he flopping over.]
Hey...what, did you use up all that energy?
no subject
[ Maybe if he wasn't feeling so good about outsmarting Rita, he'd do something other than get as much sand as possible in his coat. That's not the case. He could go if Rita wanted him to, but otherwise, he's ready to bask in his triumphs. ]

[She thinks he's tired himself out... So she sighs as she comes over and crouches down again.]
That's what you get for running all over like a little squirrel or something, you know.
no subject
[ He stops and looks up at her from his spot on his back. He has so much less shame in this curse... But he wishes he could talk just so he could tease her and ask if she'd pick him up and carry him if he did wear himself out. Being called a
delicious preysquirrel doesn't both him all that much. ]no subject
[He's such a dork right now... She shakes her head and laughs softly, then reaches out to pick him up, anyway!]
If you're tired out, then here.
no subject
plot twist this is just a random dog; tyr was out fishing all day.]
no subject
But she does easily pick him up! And holds him carefully...she doesn't want to hurt him.]
So you still had energy after all, huh?
no subject
He puts his paws to her chest and stomach to balance himself. Rita is still really pretty. Which translates to another ridiculous dog smile. While he does still have energy, he doesn't show it now. ]
no subject
She smiles down at him; he is cute like this, but she'd still much rather have the real him back. At least it's just until tomorrow.]
Let's get you some real food instead of that toxic waste Flynn was making.
no subject
Cuuuute. But right now, he's really grateful he has Rita looking out for him. As much as he wants to think he's fine, there's no way he can really exist as a dog. His eyes light up and his ears perk when he hears that she'll give him food. ]
no subject
After all, it's not Tyr as he normally is...and it's not as fun when they can't really talk to each other. Not that is stops Rita from talking to him, and her smile widens.]
I figured that's why you were hanging out outside the restaurant.
no subject
He likes Rita talking to him; it'd be weird if she was just silent and he had no idea what she thought... That's what's annoying about being an animal.
He does try though when he barks! Maybe that yip conveys his deep feelings of wanting to protect that place. ]
no subject
Rita's never had a problem talking to things that don't talk back, though she likes being able to talk with Tyr. For today, she's still going to chat with him!
...But she doesn't make a very good dog whisperer.]
I knew I was right.
no subject
It isn't that irritating that she doesn't understand him. He did want to eat too, so... Well, for now, he'll just rest his head on his paws and keep looking up at Rita. ]
no subject
...Come on.
[With a little smile at him, she carries him towards the house.]

She brings him inside the house and into the kitchen, glancing around, then leans down again to set him back on the floor.]
Looks like he's not in, so I don't have to throw him out again.

What about an apple or something?

[Time to open the fridge and check out the contents...]
There's carrots in here. Dogs like salad, right?
[Repede did, at least.]
