What the hell? Oh, come on! I was home for FIVE minutes! Maybe ten. I had Sara with me and everything! You couldn't just leave me there a little longer? I'm this close to finishing God off!

[Inspects the gash on his arm, then frowns.] Wait. Does this mean - I went home, I was sixteen again, came back here in the same clothes, same injury, same body.

Am I sixteen AGAIN? Ungh! Stupid City! Should've just left me there.

[Seeing the device, he grabs it, his wings extend for flight, then he ends the feed in disgust.]

[ Can't stop. Doesn't want to stop. But Setauna feels disquietingly light. So silent. Suddenly he just can't feed. It isn't even a decision. He just lets go. Drops the boy. Steps back. Frowning. ]

...What the hell?

[Setsuna drops completely, but there's a light smile on his face, like he's at peace.]

[ Karl. Just. Stares. Reaching out, he nudges Setsuna with his foot. Not the tenderest of moves. But what else should he do? The boy isn't dead. He hears the faint patter of his pulse. Is he playing a prank? ]

...Wake up, Setsuna. This isn't cute.

[ ...has he passed out? Surely Karl didn't take that much. ]

[No, not playing. He's completely passed out. Karl took blood after he had bled himself, after all.]

[And, yes, Karl, you did take that much. You're a bit of a blood-glutton.]

Stupid boy.

[ The blood-scent will attract predators. He considers his options for a beat. Then bends to scoop the boy up. He can always stash him at Phantomhive until he awakens. ]

[Stupid boy, stupid vampire. Though that's pretty considerate of you, Karl. A sign of foresight, too. Just wait until later when Setsuna's asking for the cookies, still.]
