10th Contract - [video/action]

[Howl is on his front lawn. He's beaming, looking happier than he's been in months, his blond hair flying artfully in the wind.]

Good morning, City. Or is it afternoon? I've been rather preoccupied, actually.

[He sends another blinding grin in the direction of the camera before he turns around. He raises his arms, and begins to speak. The words sound not entirely like his own voice, and don't seem to stay in your mind no matter how well you listen. They finish with a crack of thunder, and suddenly storm clouds start to fill the clear blue sky. They gather over the lawn where Howl is standing, and it begins to rain torrentially, carefully avoiding getting Howl wet of course. After a few moments it clears, the clouds dispersing to leave hot, wet sunshine and a single rainbow.

He's grinning so hard his face might split.]

[ooc: Howl's magic is returned! Which means he is in a celebratory mood. /nudgenudgewinkwink. Feel free to come by his place to witness this little display, or bump into him around town.]

Andy happens to be passing by, out for a walk that afternoon, and stops to stare at the display. That is probably one of the single most cool things he has ever seen since coming to the City.]

[Dodging raindrops and stuff, feeling a bit put out over having to dodge aforementioned raindrops. Lame!]

[Getting wet? He no curr. He has magic, okay. Which is why Cain is getting swept up into a victory kiss as he walks by. Surprise!]

[OH EM GEE WAT? This is not as planned, no, not at all. Please excuse him as he struggles to extricate himself.]

[He's not going to keep anyone around who's not into it. He at least has the decency to look slightly ashamed of himself when they part.]

[KLDSJF;S:KFDJDSKJD! Chekov scrambles away from Howl, as mortified as ever a seventeen year-old was and stammering out what may well be an apology in a language that is certainly not English.]

[Does it even matter what time of the day it is? There's rain coming down around their house alone, so of course Sophie goes outside to see what's happening. And outside seems to be, for this instance, on the roof; as if drawn by the magic, so vibrant and loud in its return.]

Howl! [It doesn't take a genius to figure out what's happened. Finally, he can stop brooding!]

[Watch yourself. Howl comes running over an wraps both arms around her and he's spinning her and kissing her and everything is brilliant again.]

Ho-wmmph! [Articulate. She squeezes her eyes shut, all the spinning around making her dizzy, and muffles a satisfied sigh against his mouth. This is nice. This is also wet - or rather, the rain is. The rain pouring on her now.

She pulls away and -

A less romantic ending to this moment than I was hoping for, but I suppose I can survive.

[Rain got caught up in the rainstorm on her way in and danced delightedly in it as it soaked her, then clasped her hands in delight at the sight of the rainbow. She beamed at Howl.]
