I hear you're in charge of the police force; I was wondering if you had time to discuss the possible involvement of the Avengers?

[ Coulson is walking Fury in the park; he isn't even doing anything that would constitute a victory but that doesn't mean others aren't -- the jogger there apparently just broke his own best time, if his joyous expression when he looks up from his watch is any indication.

And then he grabs Coulson and plants one on him, Fury barking at them both. ]

Well. [ A beat. Then, drily: ] That was unexpected.

[Crowley's stronger than he looks, so he holds Phil for a moment, because when he kisses someone, they stay kissed, then he pulls him back upright and lets him go just as abruptly as he grabbed him in the first place.]

Take that, ducks!

[debrief]

[ He is, admittedly, a little dazed. Not that it shows very much, but he is. ]

What do the ducks have to do with anything?

[Don't make Crowley kiss you again, Phil.]

Ducks? [He glances back at the ducks and frowns that the one he sank is now swimming around again.] Nothing.

[ He's only just getting the hang of this curse, excuse him for not having figured it out yet. ]

Then why did you-- [ A beat. ] I probably don't want to know.
