I'm curious about something.

People come and go, but there's no method to it, right? I feel like there should be rhyme or reason to it.

The more I think about it, the more I'd like the Avengers to have their own police presence. We're not vigilantes and we need to be able to move within the police force. Justin Pendleton's in charge, there, but I would still want the Avengers to act on their own, without Fury here to oversee, I guess that duty would fall to the next highest ranking agent - Agent Coulson, that would be you, right?

I'd also like to propose that we bring in the Lady Sif into our conversations. She knows the most about Loki, she's smart and strong and I think that we could use her, if she's willing to be of aid.

[ Pepper needs new towels. It sounds stupid, but the ones she's got are Tony's towels and she never liked his taste in the first place-- he shouldn't be allowed to decorate without her-- and she just can't wash her face every morning and see his towels without seeing him there too.

In any case, she's out shopping for one thing, which leads to seeing something else she needs, and eventually she sees Steve coming down the sidewalk and wants to brag about her new bathroom the first way she can think of.

It's not til after she's got her hands on Steve's head and her lips up against his mouth that she realizes this has gone a lot farther than "hey look at my new towels." ]

Oh. Oh god. Shit. Steve. God. [ Just... trailing off. ]
