[Charlie looks damn pleased right now. Damn pleased. She's sorting through a pile of clothes she dumped out of one of her bags a moment ago and is hastily putting them away in a dresser. Petichor and Phantom are running around her feet but she doesn't seem to mind at all. In fact, with the way she steps around them, she's used to it.]

Guys, give me a minute or two and we can go outside. I'm almost done.

[A drawer opened, the final shirt put away and Charlie throws her hands up in the air in triumph.]

Yes! Finally! Last item is put away. I'm officially moved in!

[...okay so it's a dorky thing to get excited about but considering who this is and how life has been for her since oh...forever? This is a good thing to get excited about. When she notices the device is broadcasting, she picks it up, gives the camera a wave and then turns it off.]

Congrats Charlie! Where are you living now?

I moved in with Arthur and Merlin.

Oh really? Good for you.

You should visit sometime. This place is huge.

I should think it ought to be, what with the Once and Future King living there.

[Grinning.] It's pretty here, too. I wonder if next year, Arthur'd be okay with me planting a garden like I had on the roof of my building.

He should! I loved your old garden. I'm not much of a green thumb, but I'll help if you want. [ She can at least help pick out flowers and color schemes and the like. ]

I'm looking forward to it. I'm thinking hummingbird garden.

[You could hear that excitement all over the house.

Or, well, almost, but far enough that Merlin a little while later swings through the doorway to grin at her. Not that he was far away in the first place.]

Great!

This is so exciting. I haven't lived out of a bag in months so actually putting stuff away is the best feeling.

[So much so that she feels the need to hug Merlin.

And...since she's cursed...spare a moment or two to kiss him in celebration.]

[Oh. Well.

He's not going to complain at all. Really, he'll even put his hands on her waist and pull her a little closer, because she just moved in with him and they don't have a couple of cows or a field, really, but it's still something he really liked the idea of. Moving together with someone he loved.

So. Kisses are perfect celebrations for it, he thinks.]

[Well, if that's how it is, Charlie will just have to continue kissing Merlin. Her arms ease around his shoulders, fingers running through the hair on the back of his head. She pulls away just a bit, close enough to easily kiss him again if she wanted to with just a subtle tilt of her head. Plus, she's really reluctant to stop kissing him right now.]

Hi, Merlin. I didn't...quite mean to kiss you like that. It just seemed like the thing to do all of a sudden.

Mmm. Hi.

[He'll just. Wag a little back and forth and slowly spin her around as he leans his forehead against hers. Because.]

Do you hear me complaining?

No. I'd be broken-hearted if you did.

[She's happy to spin and move with him. It's nice, kinda soothing, actually. She tilts her head slightly, kissing him again.] See? I just can't help myself.

Then we're two.

[Because if she's going to keep kissing, so is he, again and again - almost nipping - while he wraps his arms around her properly.]

[Charlie sighs, arms wrapping around him as well. This was nice. This was perfect and amazing and she got to see him as often as she wanted because she lived with him. There was more kissing for a moment and a reluctance to pull away, even just slightly.]

Thank you, by the way, for letting me move in here. I appreciate it.

I wanted you to.

[While it hadn't really crossed his mind before now, it had become so clear when he realised that he and Arthur could give her a place to stay.]

[She smiles softly, eyes closing and lips brushing his in a soft kiss.] I just hope I don't end up annoying you. Or Arthur. I kind of enjoy waking up to you every morning, now, instead of occasionally like it was before.

I highly doubt that's possible.

Well, annoying me. Annoying Arthur isn't really difficult. It would be a feat if you never annoyed him.

[And then there are those who do it on purpose. Like him.]

...probably not. I care about you to much to want to annoy you, even as a joke.

[He chuckles, nuzzles his nose against hers.]

Arthur always trying to do it is probably enough. I think I'll live.

Someone has to counter that somehow. [Happily nuzzling right back, kissing him again because he's right there.]

Not aside from work.

Did you want to go to the grocery with me and help me pick out something for dinner? I'm clueless.

Sure. Don't know if I'll be much help, but we can have a look.

Yep. I moved in with Merlin and Arthur.

Oooh, moving in with the boyfriend. Good for you.

Do you have to wait on Arthur as well? [teasing!]

Yeah. My roommate left so Merlin and Arthur said I could move in with them. [She's not one hundred percent sure whose idea it was. She just knows she appreciates the both of them for it.]

Oh, no. I just help with cooking and cleaning.

That was nice of them. It's always good to have people around.

And you might just be a good influence on Arthur.

It is. I enjoy it.

[Mercy had noticed that and found it very sweet. Which is probably why she had that grin on her face.]

Thanks, but oh, hey, it's not like that. Just a new arrival to the City. Another version of someone I knew here years ago that I offered a place to stay. It's not like I don't have enough room for a ton of people here.

Oh! Huh...well...you know what? It still stands. If they're rude, I'll talk to them.
