It was easier for me to figure anyone shooting at me was cursed though.

I did. [ Perhaps she would have liked to participate more, but then emotionally distant also means not joining in on the fun more often than not. ]

Sure... [ though he pauses again kind of unsure. he hasn't forgotten how ivy was more open during the curse when they were family and though it remains a strange twist of discomfort for himself (perhaps not in wholly dissimilar ways) it's not something he disregards either. it's just hard to figure out how to factor it in now. ]

What're you up to today?

[ He's one of the few who ask these kind of questions and it's a painful reminder and it challenges the Archive in that it's Ivy, the little girl, and not the Archive that he asks. ]

I have no specific plans for the day.

It's amazing what a few water pistols can do to a fully grown man.

One of the pros to singlehandedly supporting the hair product industry. [ It is equally dry and a tit-for-tat kind of response that seems to imply their humors would likely either mesh really well or oil-and-water depending on what might be the subject. For now it's more the former, entirely even, and Arthur laughs briefly to punctuate. ]

Yeah. I don't know if...you get used to it, but depending on the people sometimes it's for the best.

[ The curl of his mouth at one side is probably a good sign that it won't clash too soon, and he's got to admit that he really does have an impressive style. Working alongside Natasha, he doesn't dare put too much flammable product in his own. ]

I was sceptical at first, but the place grows on you. [ That, and as bored as he gets, he really isn't eager to leave as much as he was in the beginning. ] Guess it's not for everyone.
