[ The boy wandering around the City hasn't quite figured out that his device is on yet, if the shaky camera view of his jeans and sneakers are anything to go by. He's walking, wandering about slowly because clearly he has no freaking idea where he is, turning around every so often to go back to where he started off again. Maybe he's pacing, maybe he just likes walking around in a circle because that's what he does when he's nervous.

And okay, so maybe he is muttering to himself under his breath and maybe it gets louder the more he talks. ] Holy crap, oh holy god, oh fuck. Dumb imagination magic, why'd they have to go and give me that job? Why? We all know not to give the ADD idiot the crazy fairy dust task. I tinkerbell myself out of Beacon Hills and everyone will just be like - [ Mimicking someone else's voice. ] Well, you are human what did you expect?

[ Kicking at a can. ] Goddamnit. I bet Derek laughed so hard his fucking lungs exploded. [ Grumbling. ] And where did this even come from anyway?

[ That's about the moment where he lifts the device up to peer at it. Stiles is young, looks a little bit younger than his sixteen year old self on the worst of days, but right now his cheeks are coloured and his other hand scratches at his cheekbone, teeth worrying his lip before he sees that it's actually recording. Which is when he gives a (manly, thank you very much) scream and tosses the device in the air, flailing as it clatters to the ground and doesn't break.

It takes a minute, then his shadow comes into view, Stiles crouching down to peer over it. ] Um, hey?
