Sure as hell seems like yesterday's made people a little crazy around the eyes.[ Bucky sounds amused though, having just got off his shift. He's maybe staying at the bar for a while, the bar is where the beer's at, and Bucky does like beer. But he looks more relaxed than he has been doing, so. ]

Everyone should'a known it was a sting from the get-go, but that don't mean people've got to keep bein' strange about it. [ He has broken up so many fights today, god.

And speaking of -. ] Hey, you. [ The camera dips because clearly he's motioning something to some rowdy guy across the room. ] I told y'already buddy, one more loud word out'a you and I'm throwing you and your punk cronies out, got it?

[ Then back to the camera. ] See. Lining up ain't natural for the soul.

Damn straight, you should'a seen the way they ran. [ Not really, but he does loom quite impressively, even without the uniform and the tommy gun.

[She can imagine his looming skills quite well. Then again, everyone looms over her. Damn being short.]

[ Besides, Bucky is totally taking on the role of protective and fake older brother for her, and she can't stop him, no way. ]

[Look, she isn't even fighting you on the princess thing, Bucky. This is how much she is letting you take on this role because she appreciates it in a quiet sort of way.]

I was telling Anna the other day that you're the one to talk to if any idiots are causing trouble. Seems like I was right.

[ Good.

Because he probably couldn't stop himself. He does it to Steve and Steve could break his face. He just can't let the people he cares about deal with everything by themselves. ]

[She let him see her when she avoided everyone else, so she does understand that. (Finally.)]

And us girls at the Blue Light are incredibly grateful. Though I'm sure I can take on a few myself.

[ He laughs at that. ]

Don't doubt it, just lemme pretend. Still part o' the job.

Which job? Here or somehow turning into my seventh brother? Because they pretend, too.

Well, I'm missin' the hair so nobody'd believe it.

I don't think you could pull off the colour, anyway. But if you ever fancied giving it a try, I could do a little something.

Mum wouldn't hate you. She hated Bill's fiancée but that's because... well, of a lot of things, but it's alright now. Fleur's family.

[After everything that's happened? How she fought with them? She's family.]

Maybe if you, I don't know, tried to marry me out of nowhere, she might. But that's it, really.

[ With a laugh. ]

[She draws in a breath at the mention of Harry and is glad this is just voice.]

My boy has plenty of other things to worry about.

[ Still slightly teasing, a gentleness in his voice. He doesn't want to upset her. ] Maybe he does. Guess we'll just have t'not run away and get married so we don't risk it.

[It doesn't upset her, per se. She just misses him; and with all the rebuilding efforts and funerals after the battle, they haven't had the time to just sit together and talk and just be.]

I guess not. Hope I don't break your heart by saying so, but I just don't fancy you that way.

[ An amused hum. ]

Oh, I hate making blokes cry.

[She chuckles softly.]

Unless they deserve it.

[Yeah, okay, maybe she's a bit of a bully, too. But Zaharias Smith had it coming.]
