[Merlin's in the kitchen! At home, for once; he's not there so often lately, it seems. Especially in the evenings, so he thinks he'll stay home this once.
He's placed the phone on the counter, and he's looking very excited about something (and you may note his hair is getting rather long).]

Do you know how amazing you've got it here? I mean... In Camelot, you couldn't just open a door to store things that need cold.
[He gestures wildly at the fridge.]
The best you could get were cellars, but even then you had to make most things on the spot. Do you have any idea how long cooking could take? And don't get me started on hunting! And these...
[Briefly, he digs around in his pocket and whips out a tiny package of pepper.]
These are genius. Travel packages already prepared! I wish we had this sort of luxury!
