[Buffy knows what it's like to have the City take away people you care about. She moped a long while when Eliot left. She smiles at Derek, sort of a sad, sympathetic smiles and toasts him as well before taking the drink, making her blah face and putting the glass down on the table.]

Not a huge drinker. Mostly fruity, girly things. This just seemed more like a tequila sort of occasion.

Definitely a tequila sort of occasion. Think the last time I had a fruity, girly drink it was cause my girl back home Garcia was shoving one at me telling me to try it.

[Even just thinking of Garcia made him feel a little better. She always saw the brighter side of things. God, he needed that, or at least to try to do that in her honor.]

[He smirks at that, maybe even laughs a bit. Cause really, it's an amusing question that he won't lie about.] I won't lie, it was pretty good. I can see why people like them.

[He picks up a lime, bites into it and then downs the newly poured glass. Yep, he intends to get drunk. Buffy offered. He isn't turning it down.]

You can just get away with drinking it when you're a girl. Or when you're with a girl. You can always say it's hers. Or if you're somewhere tropical. I'm pretty sure they're required when you're tropical.

[She will usher him into drunkness. She does the things in reverse: shot first, lime second, making blech face again. She'll have to be very drunk for it to taste alright.]
