There are many new people out today. I am having a guest for a few days, but after that, if any of you are looking for a roommate I would be willing to share my space with you.

It does help the ticking.

[A fluffy orange and white colored cat presses its face next to Ken's and then inspects the device with a sniff. Ken looks uncertain at first, backs away a bit, but then reaches out to lightly pet his head. He's definitely nothing like Wormmon, who is sorely missed.]

And I adopted this guy while I was young. I'm no longer certain why. But he is to stay with me now, and he helps the ticking lessen, so I hope anyone needing a roommate likes animals and isn't allergic.

...I need a name for him, as well. Anyone have any suggestions?

How odd that they do. To find their intentions why they pull beings from their world, we may find what fuels them and this world. It would make sense why no one knows the reasoning if that is the case.

I would like to leave as well. I am sure that I will in a day or two given what I have been told by other sources.

Yes...it would be nice to know at least what purpose we were brought here for, if nothing else.

Yes, I am simply a number in a crowd of those who have arrived recently. I did not want to sit still, so I decided to find a way to pass the time until it is time to return.

I don't suppose you have any idea why you might have been brought here?

I do not other than I believe my father may have sent me here after ordering that I be exiled.

What? Why would he exile you?

I've never heard of anyone else being banished here, though.

I broke the laws my country had, even if it was for its benefit. He simply could not let me free because I am his daughter, nor because I had did what I did to benefit him as well.

That's.... If it was to benefit, then that's ridiculous. There are times that things need to change. He sounds a little heavy-handed in his decisions.

'Tis not heavy-handed at all. I will not tolerate hearing my father being insulted even if this realm is not connected to mine.

[He's taken aback by that, surprised, but quickly finds footing again.]

I'm not insulting him, just suggesting that maybe this wasn't the best way of handling things. Maybe you did the right thing, maybe what you did was for the best. Maybe what you did should have been honored, instead.

What was it you did?

I killed an honored general of my country. He was planning on killing my half-sister, one whom my father loved dearly, then he planned on telling the country of my father's secret. So he wouldn't have his good name stepped on, I took action. This was my consequence and I will accept it proudly as a warrior who did not obey her king's command.

[He just stares at her for a while, stunned. Her father really...? FOR THAT? He shakes his head and sighs. While he cannot agree with her father, he feels there is some pride in her taking her exile as she does - pride in WHY it was done.]

Then, seeing as why you are sentenced to that consequence, I can understand. Your half-sister's life is worth that, and more, isn't it?

Yes, it was. While I care not about her, I do care about the feelings that my father has for her, the love he had shown her as a father to his daughter.

[That was more than enough for Gwendolyn. More than enough.]

Because of that, I won't say another word against your father. It seems a dishonor to you as well.

I thank you for your judgement. [And she smiles for him again.]

Yes, but after hearing the whole story, I can't blame you for being irritated with me earlier.

[She takes a second to mull over his words.]
