Jeffrey is in his last year of high school. He also appears to be developing unsettlingly amorous affections for Mike's sister Vicky. Despite reminding him of the myriad of otherwise successful dictators and conquerors who were ultimately felled by their affections for a pretty girl, he seems determined to persist in his crusade for her hand.

Mike approves even less than I do.

Well, Mike is an older brother, they're supposed to disapprove over everything. Same for you about Jeffrey. Part and parcel of having younger siblings, I'm afraid.

As it is the nature of younger sisters to persistently butt in on their older brothers' business, I presume.

Vicky generally retaliates by displaying an irritating amount of interest in the activities of myself and Mike in exchange.

Oh, absolutely. My brothers never let me fly with them, so naturally I forced my way in as much as I could. It's how things work.

Flying with your brothers is not analogous to the escapades Mike and I commonly embark upon. It's none of her business.

I do not have a girl in mind. My romantic social life has thus far consisted entirely of girls who happen to be the crazy friends of the average and impeccably boring girls Mike tends to favour.
