I'll just keep this short, shall I?
[Ginny beams at the camera, hair braided back but unmistakably Weasley red, eyes bright, smile brighter.]
Ginny Weasley here. If you know me, you'd best get your arse over here and say hello so I can give you a proper hug. And if you don't, well, come along and say hello, anyway. I'm as fond of unfamiliar faces as I am familiar ones.
[Teasingly,]
I might even be a tad bit more polite since you'll be perfect strangers. I only hex the ones I love, really.
[ooc; FOURTH WALL! HAVE AT HER. Just no doubles, no telling her she's from a book, and no future spoilers beyond the Final Battle (though if it happens, she'll conveniently forget once it's all over). Feel free to threadjack, too! HAVE FUN AND BACKDATE FOREVER! ♥
Also—Mrs Ginny Potter (

voice;
You know who I am?
voice;
Of course I do. [Gently teasing,] I didn't mean it, you know, about hexing the people I'm fond of. Don't worry.
voice;
[ And that'a a thing, that if people know who he is and he doesn't, his walls start slamming into place. ]
voice;
You just said you knew my face.
voice;
[ A pause. She doesn't seem like a threat. ] I don't remember a whole lot of things, darling, don't take it seriously.
voice;
[And then it clicks, and she's a little startled.]
There's two of you here today.
voice;
voice;
[Curiously,]
"You've kinda got this—" what?
voice;
voice;
[Pause.]
But the City plays with memories all the time, Bucky.
voice;
voice;
I came back, once, and it took me a few days to remember people.
voice;
voice;
Are you alright?
voice;
[ Literally. ]
voice;
Can I see you?
voice;
[ There's the small fact that he has a metal arm, that he looks less like a friend than he ever had. ] Save yourself the trouble, kid.
voice;
[Her tone is a little firmer.]
I think I can decide for myself if something is too much trouble and believe it or not, you aren't. Not to me.
[Perhaps he hasn't given her much cause to worry, yet, but he sounds so unhappy compared to the Bucky she knows. She wants to know why.]
voice;
[ Because if she does know him, he'd like to know how. Steve had said a younger version of himself lived here, she must be his friend. ]

[She's there in no more than a minute, and the truth is she Apparated but enough of a distance away that he wouldn't see her. (She's quite sure the Bucky she knows hasn't got a clue about the extent of her magic, so she's playing it safe, anyway.) She's through the crowds and scanning for a familiar face and it takes a second for her to realise she's looking at Bucky because... yes, there is something different.
Here she is, though. Right in front of him, all bright hair and freckles and smile.]
Almost couldn't find you in this mess.

Ginny, right?

That's right. Ginny Weasley. [It's a pleasure to meet you? Meet you again?] Bucky Barnes, right?

[She amends quickly, but it's strange on her tongue. James is a name that, at the moment, she associates with a man she (and the rest of the wizarding world) respects. It's also the name of a dead man.]
Sorry. Well, it's still Ginny for me. No one ever calls me Ginevra.

[ He looks up the street at the sound of footfalls, but his attention remains on her. ]
We knew each other from here, right?
